Throwing in some little (?) known facts from before the 1970s to help Jeremy out:
He was mentored by Laurence Olivier
He was seriously considered to replace Sean Connery as James Bond
He loved archery and horseriding (apparently he was the only actor in ‘War and Peace’ who was always riding a live horse)
His voice was dubbed in ‘My Fair Lady’ for whatever reason (he hated it) which is a shame because he had a lovely baritone and even appeared in ‘The Merry Widow’ (you can listen to his lovely voice on yt)
