This is ludicrous. Wouldn’t it sink into the earth or something? What if it wasn’t properly bolted on an rolled away? Think of the awful shadow it would cast… (not depicted) 

but the victorian sense of engineering grandeur is something to be appreciated. This particular momument ought to show up in a steampunk work of art soon, because it’s rather too excellent to leave out.
