In the post-apocalyptic steampunk world of the retro future, you’re gonna need some goddamn scary eye protection: but you’re gonna wanna keep it classy for all those lumbering zombie galas. S. Anomalous’ decorative monocles come in a wide variety of cthulhu heads, tiger maws, skeletal hands, and good ol’ fashioned rusted gears available for purchase at the etsy.

I created the Automa Series to act as a fictional replacement of human beings. This particular set focuses on their construction… which acts as a metaphor for the creative process. Plans for showing them “out in the wild” so to speak, is in the pipeline. But I’m gonna take a break from them for awhile. I’m a fan of details though so the lore behind these will probably become pretty intricate by the time I’m finished with the whole project. This set of images represents about a year’s worth of work… and many many hours of love:)
