While most of my fics remain archive locked and you must be logged into AO3 to read them, there are 3 fics that I've made public again because I feel it's more important for them to be accessible and readable for a wider audience than it is for my writing to be harder for AI generators to pull from.
in case you're curious what they are, links under the cut
Wholesome low-stakes headcanon: in most places on Eternia people wear house slippers because the floors get cold. At Snake Mountain people wear house slippers because the floors are too hot.
New CGI/Core clip is up on YouTube and it features more Snakemen!
Spoilers under the cut.
MotU Headcanon: There are no trashcans in Snake Mountain. Everyone just throws their garbage directly into the lave. The leftover bones from last night’s dinner? Lava. The empty booze bottles from Skeletor’s drinking spell after their latest defeat? Lava. Whatever that is Beastman cooked that no one wants to eat? Lava. Panthor’s kitty litter? Lava. Incomplete and only half drafted magical circles and sigils from Evil-Lyn or Skeletor’s sorcery? Lava!
…wait, why has the lava taken on a life of it’s own? Oh, cruel world! Who would have thought throwing incomplete magical signs into the flames would raise from the depth a creature! Oh, woe! Oh, woe are we the Evil Warriors who-
Oh. Skeletor wants to use it in his next plan to defeat He-Man and conquer Eternia. Okay. No harm, no foul.
What is Skeleteens real name?
According to his page on He-Man.org, his name is "Malkyn of the House of Keldor" (surnames in Eternia just being "House of [you father]")
This name never appears in canon, however, and so I'm not sure where it comes from. It's possible that it was a name suggested for him in one of the many concept stages of the character.
There's also an UNOFFICIAL character book that has his real name listed as "Keldyn".
I don't like this name, however, as its just his parent's names spliced together. Which is not really the naming style on Eternia. There aren't any other characters who are named after their parents. The name "Keldyn" just feels out of place for the setting.
Given that alcohol is profitable, there are no farmers among the evil warriors, and beer is traditionally a woman's product, I propose that Evil-Lyn is just out brewing the best damn ale on Eternia and that's how Snake Mountain stays afloat
Where does she get the grain?
Trades with a neutral territory or one of the closer areas which are loyal to Snake Mountain for safety’s sake. There’s probably at least a few settlements which pay taxes to Snake Mountain for protection or use of the volcanic soil.
I always figured that would be the best way for them to feed themselves. Clearly none of them is doing subsistence farming/hunting/gathering work, and they're sitting on probably the most fertile land on Eternia with all the volcanic activity (and while sunlight is sparse, heat and long growing periods are abundant). Just lease that land out for a percentage.
This is my headcanon for the Dare & Skeleteen point on the timeline, when the Light and Dark halves of the planet are more established as organized countries and global superpowers. But I'm not sure how much tax collection or tithing was going on during Skeletor's day.
They just seem organized enough...
...unless the taxes are being paid to just Evil-Lyn.
She's got the best protection racket in town! Give me your grain and yeast, and in return I'll protect you from Skeletor and his Evil Warriors. They'll be too drunk to harass the neighbors!
I figure Skeletor and Evil-Lyn have something of an arrangement where he is in charge of external affairs such as trying to conquer Eternos, while she is in charge of the internal affairs like, "That's nice, sweetie, but we need to feed ourselves here today."
I love it.
A true Queen of the Dark Hemisphere.

I had a dream last night that Mattel made another Masters of the Universe show, except it was in the style of Barbie's "Life in the Dreamhouse".
New chapter of my kid-fic using the next gen characters. This one's all about Trap Jaw II.
i spent way too long on this
Trap Jaw taking his life into his hand sitting in Skeletor's throne.
Been messing with,Neural Blender trying to see if it knows about MOTU yet.
Every single one of the made me feel like I having a stroke.
Evolution Of He Man: Snake Mountain
I wanted to add the design from the new H&M He-Man.
But all I could find were the toy for it.
Which looks absolutely nothing like how it appeared in the show.
Like, what even is that? Have these people never met a 7-year-old. They are going to throw an all out fit because it doesn't look how it looks in their cartoon.
Evil-Lyn insists on Kobra Kahn sitting in on planning the attack on Grayskull because she absolutely refuses to be alone in a room with General Rattlor. This turns out to be a smart move on her part because immediately after the strategy meeting Rattlor offers the Snakeman equivalent of a proposal.
Meanwhile, King Hiss attempts to rid Eternia of Skeletor once and for all. But does he succeed? He thinks he does!
