heres an SPOP headcanon. the magic of the heart of Etheria uses Proto Havoc.
Ooh... I like that...!
Calling it now
The proto Havoc isn't usually evil and neither was king his but what ever happened to the Proto Havoc caused King hiss to go mad
I like this idea, and it kinda vibes with my own head canons.
I agree that photo-havoc isn't inherently "evil". It's just a wild force of nature and might seem chaotic or "evil" to someone who's not in tune with nature. The Snakemen, being a beast-like people, would be more in-tune with nature than a "civilized" human like King Grayskull.
Please forgive me, this might actually just be a rant and not a helpful post, but...
Whenever I go into the main fandom tag in my current fandom I always, without fail, see a new post complaining about how no one has anything positive to say about the new series. So I want to remind my fandom:
If all you're seeing in the fandom is negativity and complaints, then you're following the wrong people.
Search and follow character tags for your favorite characters. If you see a particular user consistently making fun or interesting posts in the tags you like, follow that user; they might post more about the series beyond just those tags.
Block tags you don't like of that upset you. If you notice certain users make several posts using tags you don't like, or with content you don't like that isn't tagged, block that user.
Curate your own fandom experience to yourself.
Anyway, for anyone in the fandom for the new Masters of the Universe CGI cartoon on Netflix, please click under the cut for a list of positive blogs to follow:
Idea for the CGI amd 2002 MOTU crossover,
CGI skeletor uses his havoc energy to revive all the dead snake soldiers that were in the ground around Snake Mountain, the 2002 Evil-lyn feels a little off about this because despite being evil she wouldn't cross into necromancy
*vibrates with excitement*
Thank you <3
Okay, okay, okay, so-
In 200x Evil-Lyn is the daughter of the Faceless One who was the king of the civilization of Zalesia. Zalesia worshipped a skeletal ram diety which was never named in canon but sublamental material has identified as "Bash-Or".
So, it's safe to assume that Lyn was raised in whatever ancient religion worshiped this skeletal ram goddess. Since her god is already dead, Evil-Lyn might not be all that opposed to necromancy. In fact, necromancy might even be a common religious practice she grew up with. Remember: not only is her god dead, but her dad is also a ghost. Death must be more familiar to Lyn than life!
However, @basenji18 also points out that Evil-Lyn uses a lot of "natural" magic in 200x (calling on rocks or conjuring storms). Which would imply that her powers are more in tune is nature and the ebbs and flows of the natural world. Looking at it from that perspective, the skeletal ram goddess of Zalesia might not be a "dead god" so much as a goddess of cycles. Remember: "death" doesn't necessarily mean literal death, in magic "death" means change, metamorphosis, or rebirth. Looking at it from that perspective, Lyn might still be okay with necromancing dead Snakemen if it was spun less as "zombies" and more as a "rebirth".
Anyway, all of this was really just a long-winded and ultimately unnecessary way for me to say: I think Lyn would be into necromancy, actually.
