It nearly could have killed my beloved Kevin. Let us take a moment to appreciate these two Osmosians locked in deadly combat. Look how dignified Kevin is. Such dignity and poise. 

What ever happened to that spear after he became Ultimate Aggregor? 

That means that Ben, Gwen, and Kevin might have it. or it might be in Plumbers custody. I wonder if Kevin ever played with it. Yeah, Kevin! Twirl that bitch like a baton! 

In my verse Kevin, and later OV!Devlin gets the spear, as some kind of a vessel for his Osmonian power. In fact the spear gets passed down in a “Brotherhood of the Traveling Spear” way.

This sounds like an amazingly wonderful idea and I would love to read a fic about it! Have you written this? Is it posted anywhere I can read it?

This is my favorite episode too. ...Probably for very different reasons, though.

New powers for Devlin (Gwen and Kevin’s child)

His powers would be an Anodite and an Osmosian, so they’d have energy-based powers but also the ability to absorb energy. What might come of that sort of fusion? Would the powers cancel themselves out? Or would their power be immeasurable?

Here’s an answer: Assuming their child inherits the Spark (as we’ve seen with Carl and Frank, not all children of Anodites have it), I think they would be pretty powerful, albeit overpowered.

I’m assuming this child indeed has the Spark, and also inherited Kevin’s powers. Gwen was considered by Diagon to be the most powerful being in the Earth dimension, and Kevin and Aggregor both almost became invincible. A hybrid Anodite-Osmosian could have huge amounts of power.

Would having Anodite powers or being “made of mana” make Devlin immune to the energy-madness that Osmosians get when they absorb too much energy? Or would he just always be insane from the day he’s born because he’s made of energy and that’s just too much for the Osmosian mind to control? 

Separated future timelines

The Ben 10 wiki modified each future character as the Original series future, Ultimate Alien future and the Omniverse future. The OS and UA futures considered as from another alternate timelines where the future events of the OS and UA were shown. And the Omniverse future takes place after the road trip but anyways there should be a way to change and improve the future of Ben Tennyson and Kevin Levin growing up:

Ben 10,000 had stayed cocky and happy until he was 20. It’s unclear on the details about what happened that day that caused his change, but at some point after that, he lightened up. And under unknown circumstances Kevin absorbed a lot of energy. This caused him to become more insane, more than ever before. Spending time in the Null Void worsened his condition. Is what it happened in the Omniverse future before the events of the End of an era.

Headcanons and ways to improve the future: Before Ben goes on a ‘road trip’ around the universe with Rook, Gwen and Kevin. Realistically, there would be no way these four could see the whole universe during their lifetime. But this is a show that centres around a teenage boy turning into different species of alien, one of which is a single-celled organism (Goop) which shouldn’t be biologically possible so it’s safe to say that the show takes some liberties with science. Personally, I think that maybe they could have done a couple of galaxies considering the technology the Plumbers have, but even within the context of the show it seems that if Ben leaves Earth for longer than a week a new conqueror tries to take it over so it wouldn’t be good for him to leave for too long. But a few years after the road trip Ben and Kevin were always happy for the rest of their lives and our heroes get married: Ben marries Rook and have Kenny, at Ben’s age of 22; but Gwen and Kevin married first and had Devlin a year before Kenny was born. In this improved future Ben and Rook have 2 additional children: Alex, and Maxwell who was born 4 years after Alex was born. Hiding the pregnancy from the outside world was difficult and, in Rook’s opinion, unnecessary. People would begin to worry if the famous hero of the Universe suddenly disappeared only to return with a half-Revonnahgander child. However, Ben’s pride dictated that the pregnancy be hidden which was difficult considering Ben still had to go to school. Luckily, Kevin had a spare ID mask so at the very least Ben could attend classes and an excuse was made that Ben had temporarily stopped fighting to focus on graduating high school.It was also fortunate that after the universe was recreated the Earthling governments had decreed it necessary for Ben to have a tower for himself to keep Earth safe after he graduated, so the child at least would have somewhere safe to grow up in. Understandably, Ben was enthusiastic about this although Max then decided to move Plumbers HQ into the tower for additional safety requirements.He was very protective of what would soon be his future great-grandchild.Rook thought this advancement beneficial since Ben couldn’t use the Omnitrix until after the birth less he wish to deform the infant before it was born and thus needed extra protection. Rook then decided that after the birth Ben should be properly trained in hand-to-hand combat in case the worst ever happened and Rook was unable to help him.

15 years after Gwen married Kevin, and Ben married Rook: Max retires and declared Rook his replacement, Rook accepted the position with minimal afterthought. Kevin is now ready to become the Magister of the Null Void. What had happened in the past was happening again as Rook met his past counterpart and fought in the Time War. What had changed was the attitude between Ben and Rook. Their relationship was now much like it had been when they were teenagers with the figurative weight of the universe on the shoulders. But despite everything that had occurred between them in the intervening decades between their past counterparts and themselves, they were still Rook and Ben. Overall, when Rook awoke on the day after becoming Earth’s Magistratus next to his beloved soulmate, he still wished that things had gone better for them all. He wished that he never had not lost contact with his family. He wished that Ben had not temporarily lost himself. He wished that Kevin never had not gone insane and stolen his son. But nevertheless, everything had happened as it should and the universe was still stable. They had all done what they were meant to do.

Devlin Levin-Tennyson is still the only child of Gwendolyn and Kevin 11,000.

Devlin: “Ben, whatever happened to my father?”

Ben: [sweating profusely and tugging on his collar] “He was killed by a young Plumber named Kevin 11,000. Who was a friend of mine until he turned to evil.”

Kevin 11,000: “Ben never told you what happened to your father...”

Devlin: [shouting through tears] “He told me enough! He told me you killed him!”

Kevin 11,000: “No. I am your father.”

Devlin: “NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!”
