Continuation of that Ram in the Vision ask. Now this being the first time I've watched Revelations since finding those info and theory posts about the Gods/Aspects of God. I find it very interesting that we did not see a Bat at any point during that vision. Makes me wonder, if we get future parts, if we'll see that vision again, this time starting at an earlier point and/or from a different perspective, to see how the Bat plays in.

I also thought that was weird. Especially since they gave Lyn a bat look as the sorceress, which said to me "Sorceress of Horokoth". But then the visions of the goddess(es) didn't feature a bat at all!

My current working theory is that Horokoth will not be a native goddess, but a deity foreign to Eternia. Horokoth, in the comics, was Hordak's patron deity and the goddess of the Horde, so maybe they'll introduce Horokoth when the Horde lands on Eternia in season 2.

Skeletor used to work for Hordak and maybe he at one time worshipped Horokoth, or maybe it just made that much of an impression on him that that's what his vision of a "goddess sorceress" is, and that's why when he made Evil-Lyn the Sorceress of Grayskull, he made her costume bat-like.

So if I made a design for Horokoth (hopefully I spelt that right) do you think I should make her lean feminine, masculine or a mix or just kinda.. "ugly" but gorgeous anyway? (I guess my example here is do I make her look like a fairy princess or a giant orc lady (where some see beauty in both where as others only see beauty in a "fairy princess"). Idk how to explain it rn but i hope you get what I mean

I love this question!

I would just like to preface this by saying that I am by no means an authority on what the Goddesses in Masters of the Universe "should" look like. But, I am always happy to talk about the Goddesses and share my own opinions about how I'd like them to look.

Horokoth is only depicted once in the franchise (thus far), in the final half of Eternity War, and she looks like literally just a bat.

This is consistent with the other depictions of the Goddesses in Masters of the Universe. None of the Goddesses are given "human forms". Zoar is always a falcon, Bash-Or is always a ram, Serpos is always a snake.

The Goddesses do, however, have mortal avatars on Eternia that do have human (or humanoid) forms. These people are not Goddesses, but mortals born from parents that were chosen by the Goddesses and given Goddess-like powers. Some example of these avatars are the Sorceress of Castle Grayskull for the Falcon Goddess Zoar, King Hiss for the Snake Goddess Serpos, Teela for the Snake Goddess Serpos again, Teela again but for the Falcon Goddess Zoar, and Evil-Lyn for the Bat Goddess Horokoth.

If I were gonna make a depiction of Horokoth, I'd wanna keep as much of the animal traits as possible and probably go a more "furry" rout rather than orc. A bat that is clearly a bat, but with obvious human traits and mannerisms, maybe even a couple human proportions, but still mainly a bat.
