So I’m able to recognize almost everyone here except for 1 person: https://graphicpolicy.files.wordpress.com/2016/02/hemew_15_2-3.jpg

Who do you think is next to/behind dream Orko and Stratos in this Eternity War’s top panel? It can’t be Moss Man since he died in the run and Roboto’s possible new body is running ahead of Adam. I can’t think of anyone on the Heroes side who’s still alive by the comic’s end that fits the silhouette drawn here.

Just to be clear, we're talking about this figure here, not Sy-Klone? Because Sy-Klone is also near/under Stratos.

Anyway, the flat silhouette of the face makes me feel like they're not a human character, so that rule out a lot of the Masters since most of the Masters are human.

This is just a guess, but in Masters of the Multiverse, there is an anthropomorphic tiger character that follows He-Man into battle. The fur of his head is drawn in a similar way to the silhouette here, and he uses a sword.

This character is not referred to by name in the comic, but I do believe there is a name listed for him on his design sheet. I don't have my copy of Masters of the Multiverse handy at the moment, otherwise I'd just look up his name.

But this is my guess as to who that silhouette is.

(He's not Cringer. He's his own character who just looks like if Cringer were He-Man.)

Am I the only one disappointed that Good!Keldor is clean shaven, how come good guys almost always have to look less interesting in MOTU?

Its not just MotU. The idea of facial hair = evil is so common that there is a Trope Name for it.

Beard of Evil

Also sometimes "The Goatee Means He's Evil".

The TV Tropes article linked goes more in-depth and explains it better than I can. But basically it boils down to: facial hair hides part of your face, so logically you must have something to hide.

"Power doesn't corrupt. It just shows you who you really are" Didn't Adam say something similar to Keldor in CGI MOTU? Or at least said something with a similar message because Castle Grayskull's power rejected Keldor giving him his curse (skeleton hand).

Similar.

In the CGI show, Skeletor was lamenting that Grayskull made him a monster or something, referring to his bone hand, and Adam told him that the power of Grayskull didn't do that to him, he was always a monster, the castle just brought it to the surface so that everyone could see it.

The quote I post is from the Masters of the Multiverse comic in which Adam is the villain and Keldor becomes He-Man and saves the universe instead. Keldor went on a journey across different canons of the MotU franchise (Filmation, 200X, 80s mini-Comics, etc.) and he met multiple Skeletor's and each one told him his destiny was inevitable, that once he got a taste of power he would succumb to it just like they did. But then Keldor is grappling with Adam and he grabs the Power Sword-

-and says the "By the Power of Grayskull", and becomes the He-Man of his universe.

Masters of the Multiverse is a really good comic and I recommend it to any and every MotU fan.

And another thing!

…that I love about “Masters of the Multiverse”.

They gave Keldor a creative hobby.

He’s an artist.

A street artist who works primarily with spray paint, but that takes a lot of skill! Have you ever tried actually painting with spray paint? That shit is hard to control!

Look at this piece from Keldor’s character entro.

It shows a clear artistic style and is identifiable as King Randor. That takes talent and skill.

And later, in his room, we see his vanity is piled with scrolls of paper and card stock.

Remember: he’s a prince. He probably grew up with the best drawing, and painting, and artistic masters on the planet.

I bet Keldor is a super talented mixed media artist.

(Now imagine main timeline Skeletor in the throne room of Snake Mountain trying to paint. “My the goddess I can’t get the lighting on this lava right! I WILL KILL EVERYONE IN ETERNOS!”)

Also, he drew this:

Keldor, and Skeletor after him, is an artist.

You can't change my mind, and one day I'm going to write a fan fic about this.

I really like this frame from the Multiverse comic. Not JUST because Keldor is saying the line from the Filmation show; but also his expression.

Look at his face, mildly annoyed and slightly impatient. Like “isn’t it obvious? Is this not the same thing you did? How is this a question? C’mon!”

“Bitch what’d you think I did?”

Well that ending has got me thinking there should be a shattered Glass/mirror verse for He man

Would honey be interested

Donno who Honey is so I can't guess how interested they'd be.

But there is a "Mirror Verse" in the MotU canons already. Anti-Eternia which they call "Eternia's Dark Mirror", is a world where He-Man is evil and Keldor is good.

Prince Adam was corrupted by the Power of Anti-Truth and used the power of Castle Hellskull to break through to other Eternia's in the multiverse and steal the Power from other He-Men from other universes. Prince Keldor must pursue his universe's evil He-Man and prevent him from destroying not only their own universe, but everyone's universes.

I read the one Question you Answered about that He-Man and the Masters of the Universe 200X Fanfiction and something struck me, some Time ago I read a German MOTU 200X Fanfiction (Luckily I understand a bit of German) and it's about how He-Man meets Anti-Eternia He-Man in a Battle. The Story also features a kind-hearted Prince Keldor with a purple Version of the Sword of Power who transforms into a He-Man with blue Skin just like in He-Man and the Masters of the Multiverse #6!

That sounds like exactly the kind of fic I'd like to read!

You said its a German fic? Is there any chance the author might be willing to give permission for their fic to be translated into English?

Oh but imagine Part 2's ending is Skeletor is indeed defeated but he wakes up somewhere and he's CGI then meets CGI Skeletor who is with 200X Skeletor as they request his help with a "problem" Now imagine season 2 focuses on the multiverse as there are three Skeletors that Adam must defeat.

Avatar

If we're going with the Multiverse rout, then I demand the inclusion of the Multiverse He-Man:

The version of Keldor who never became Skeletor.

The version of Keldor who became He-Man instead, defeated the Evil He-Man who was corrupted by Anti-Truth, and saved the Multiverse from an eldritch horror.

Multiverse He-Man and Adam team-up.

CG He-Man/SPOP headcannon: the reason Horde Prime left Eternia alone was he believed he blasted The First Ones civilization on it back to the stone age ( and also was stabbed in the chest by King Grayskull's sword of power) . but it had recovered.

Avatar

I like it.

And in one of the universes of the Multiverse comic, this is exactly what happened.

Not the Horde Prime being stabbed by Grayskull thing. The Eternia used to be highly advanced but was blasted back into the Stone Age thing. It's part of the Primal/Jungle/Savage universe. I don't have my comics handy at the moment, but when I do I'll post the relevant frames.

Something else I just noticed, in the “Masters of the Multiverse” comic, every time Keldor and a Skeletor part ways, Keldor is always drawn to the right of the frame with Skeletor on the left.

I find this interesting because there’s a lot of superstition associated with right and left sides.

The right side is usually associates with good luck, health and positivity. You use your right hand to throw salt over your shoulder to ward off evil. Your most trusted friend or confidant is called your “right hand man/woman/person-of-not-specific-gender”. If your right hand itches it means you’ll be coming into some money soon.

It’s bad luck to pass a drink with your left hand. If your first step out of bed is on your left foot you’ll have a bad day. If your left hand itches it means you owe a lot of money.

I’m not sure if the pencilers were really thinking about it that deeply. But I just really appreciate the detail of Keldor always being shown on the “good side” through out his Hero’s Journey. I think it’s a really nice detail.

Whether it was planned or not.
