Why Keith is autistic
- In the scene with his shack, he was able to tell that the line-point-graph thing looked like the rocks SO QUICKLY (thinking in images)
- Seems socially inept/doesn’t know how to bond (x)
- Doesn’t like to be touched/hugged/isn’t touchy (x)
- Seems like touching is VERY intimate for him (see the two above)
- Seems to process things slower/differently (x)
- Sleeps in full clothing (likes the pressure, routine, possible stimming.)
- Also, not really sure you can say “Well it’s just lazy editing,” because they made it a point to show everyone how they sleep.
- Double also: Lance and Hunk somehow had jammies despite not having any on them when being launched into space, so why wouldn’t Keith?
- Isn’t very verbal (seriously I feel like he talks the least out of all of them)
- He seems to think very literally, and that seems to be part of why he doesn’t “get” things. (x)
- He always seems to be happier doing his own thing. (x)
Not just one of these things made me feel like he’s autistic, but all of these things together made me feel like he’s autistic. Feel free to add more if you feel like I’ve missed something!
