Erin-Pearl: lanky, awkward,tries so hard, needs perfection, “Let’s try to be safe”, mom friend
Abby- Amethyst: short, round, doesn’t care what people say (or she doesn’t let on that she does), soup
Patty-Garnet: Tol friend, will protect her smol friends, strong, very kind and smart
Holtzmann-Peridot: smol strange haired techies, tinted glasses/goggles/visor, would probably push a someone off the roof to see how well they could fly
Kevin-Steven: he is good and well meaning but still learning, is still included in the team, same syllables and end-sound so it sounds good when you add “And Kevin!” to the song
Mike Hat-Lion: Pet/friend of Kevin-Steven, doesn’t do a whole lot for the team generally? many secrets
So, in the vein of the Crystal Gems, I’ve assigned the Ghostbusters all mom titles (there is no reasoning behind why they get Mom titles, other than being a group of women who’ve got eachother’s backs and they fight monsters to save the world, i.e. they remind me of the CGs.)

patty walking out about to go for a stroll and a little child is laying in a small carrier. patty yells out “uuh guys! we gotta baby here” erin walking out all “patty what are you-” and seeing a small tiny baby on the front step.
both are just ???? there is a baby??? an infant??? we can barely look after Kevin as it is omfg. but holtz comes up behind erin with her chin on her shoulder all “I have already named her erin junior and she can sleep upstairs” Abby popping in all “uh do we get a say in this??” erin: “apprently not we have a child now”

OOC: Mail Campaign to Save Ghostbusters ‘16
Phew! It took a lot of digging, but I FINALLY found the general feedback email address for Sony Pictures.
A lot of news articles are coming out claiming that a Ghostbusters sequel is never gonna happen because the box office was so disappointing, but between the box office take and the merchandising, there might just still be a slim chance, as long as there is a pointed public outcry to go with it.
I’m talking about fan mail, people. Lots and lots of it.
Be polite, be well-spoken, but make it clear you NEED THIS SEQUEL IN YOUR LIFE.
Keep in mind, this is a business contact. Most of us will not get a response. The idea is to show support for this new franchise, not to harass some poor sap only doing his job. Please do not spam this address. That will not help. That would in fact be the opposite of helping.
We’ve seen the film, we’ve bought the toys, now say your piece and spread the word.

ok im about 2 get sappy but the new ghostbusters means so much to me because 3rd grade me was so obsessed w the old one that I printed out the entire script (and used way too much ink sry mom & grandma & school library) and would read along while watching and I made homemade proton packs with shoeboxes and vacuum hoses (again sry mom) and my ppl used to tell me it was a boy thing (which was dumb) but now there are girls!!!!! and they kick ass!!!!! and are all around better!!!! this was the type of movie 8 yr old me needed i’m so happy

I swear I’m going in circles here so help time! I keep looking at different reference photos for an upcoming ghostbusters cosplay from the reboot. ARE THE JUMPSUITS GREY/KHAKI/BEIGE I CAN NO LONGER TELL ANYMORE?
I think they’re gray. They’re definitely not khaki like the old jumpsuits.
