IMHO Cockles happens a little more frequently than you think. But that’s not my point.

Regardless of your feelings towards cockles, Misha or J*red, he was on stage with someone who grew up in poverty and was frequently homeless! The man has no self awareness or empathy.

Actually @ottiliewinchester​ Misha didn’t grow up in poverty nor was he “frequently homeless”.  Public records showed that Misha and his brother attended elite private schools that cost more than college tuitions.  Misha’s mother owned a huge house that is worth $600,000.  Long time Misha fans will tell you that his mother dabbled in “alternative lifestyles” that includes camping either on their own property or other people’s property, but they weren’t “frequently homeless”, not even Misha said that.

When you compared their fiscal records, Misha actually grew up in a higher class lifestyle in the upper middle-class range, where as Jared grew up in solidly middle class.  That said, Misha’s home life was a bit unstable due to lack of a father figure and his emotionally unstable mother.  

And I noticed that you weren’t able to back up your claim that “cockles happens alittle more frequently”.  The only time cockle shippers are able to back up their claims is through unsubstantiated gossip aka fanfiction.

According to Misha himself, the one time that he and his family were “homeless” was when they were displaced briefly after a house fire and had to couchsurf with various friends. His fans have rewritten that into the fanfiction of him being "poverty” stricken and “frequently homeless“.

“Old enough to know better”. Yeah to delete the post after you were shown to be a fool.

Why is Mooshy even relevant anymore like, this man is scraping the bottom of the empty barrel and I can bet if you bring up his name outside of the SPN Fandom, you will be met with blank looks. Mooshy is washed up and old news and he just needs to accept that

Right now he's holding on to his relevance through his minions and continued conventions. Once J2 stop committing to the Creation conventions, those will dry up. His popularity will diminish even further and he'll stop being invited to other conventions. It's just a downward spiral from here. I've been saying he needs to go into a different line of work, get away from show biz, but his ego just won't let him. He needs the praise and adoration, and as long as his minions continue to give him that, he'll continue to bait them long after he's faded from every other memory.

J2 and the other actors are contracted for the rescheduled Creation conventions through most of 2022, but after that I imagine that the number of SPN cons will drop to maybe 1-2 per year like with other ended shows, given that J2 will be busy with other obligations.  It’s unknown if Creation with bother with the Giving Back Tour cons since they’ve been shown to be unsuccessful.  And the number of smaller cons willing to pay Mooshy’s appearance fee (which is likely as overpriced as his autographs and photo ops) will dwindle as time goes by and his relevance drops.  So his days of milking the convention circuit are numbered.

Likewise Mooshy’s opportunities to take advantage of his deluded fanbase are diminishing.  His repeated begging for book sales, GISH signups, etc., the decreasing participation in the Hellers’ petitions, the low number of Twitter followers some minions regained after their accounts were shut down, the paltry engagement that said minions’ tweets get now--this all demonstrates that many Destihellers, minions, and similar ilk have given up and moved on now that SPN is over, there’s no chance for “cannon Destiew,” their various campaigns failed, Mooshy’s career has tanked, and his relationship with Jensen is even more nonexistent.  Those numbers will only continue to drop once the Creation cons mostly end, Mooshy’s other appearances dry up, and he runs out of new material to keep his fans’ attention.  Some of the diehard whackjobs like Drooly and DumbDot won’t give up, but their numbers won’t be enough to sustain his ego or wallet.

And all I gotta say is that it’s his fault for creating and enabling a horrendous cult following.

As others have pointed out, Mooshy was there only as Darius Marder’s +1, not for anything he’s ever done himself.  That’s going to be the only way he gets invited to an award show, since it certainly won’t be for his lack of acting talent.  As it was, I imagine this was the reaction of most people to his presence:

So let me ask this: Jensen Ackles gets the scrips for episodes, has to film them, MONTHS before any one episode airs, so….how does he not know? This one is still BUTTHURT over the implosion of her ship in canon. Saying that Dabb has a “surprise” for him is actually QUITE SAD! Also, anyone who saw 12x09, saw that more than awkward “one arm hug” to Dean, but NOONE is talking about the full body hug between Sam and the angel??? That pill must have some serious side effects including DELUSION.

oh god look i love misha and i’m so sad that he has a minority of fans that take things next level and ruin shit for him. just accept that while it is definite that misha’s character is one of the main characters and is important, it does not mean that he is a lead of the show. and i think that misha accepts that - in fact, i’m certain he does. or else it’d be pretty hard for him to continue his job for 8 damn years. it’s okay to love his character, it’s okay for him to be your favourite. but stop pushing your desperation for him to be involved in absolutely everything on them. he’s a grown man with his own family, he does not need a bunch on kids telling people that he should have been on a magazine cover, or that he’s more important than an inanimate object (duh) or any other shit like that. don’t give others in this fandom a reason to dislike you, because really, all it does is push more dislike towards misha (which isn’t fair) and his character.

This. All of this. It is his minions that paint him and Cas in a bad light. They pretty much fucked up any chances of positive Dean/Cas interactions.

Based on some posts I’ve seen recently, I’m really starting to wonder if some  extreme shippers within the Supernatural fandom aren’t just suffering from confirmation bias. Essentially, they are so convinced that their ship is absolutely canon that when they look for proof, they see only that which supports their pre-existing views. Meanwhile they ignore or discount anything that proves them wrong. 

Example: You see a series of gifs showing Dean and Cas staring at each other and automatically assume the characters or actors are flirting with each other. Nevermind that there are also gifs of Sam and Dean staring at each other in what some might call a flirtatious manner, and at least one of Jensen staring at a character portrayed by his father in the same way. 

Here’s another example: you see a picture of Misha wearing a flannel shirt, and then see one of Jensen wearing a flannel shirt or similar colors and conclude that they are wearing the *same* shirt which of course means they are boyfriends and your ship is real. Of course, in coming to this conclusion you ignore the following facts: Flannel isn’t exactly an uncommon thing to wear, the shirts have visibly different designs, and (assuming you think they’re literally wearing each other’s clothes) Misha is somewhat smaller than Jensen so it’s likely that they don’t wear the same size. Note: In this instance, you also ignore the fact that there are multiple pics of Jensen and Jared wearing shirts that actually are of the same design.

There are other examples, but those are the two that came across my dash today.Though technically there were actually 2 different posts of Jensen and Misha wearing different flannel shirts. Anyone who believes this means their ship is more than fanfiction not only suffers from confirmation bias but also lacks critical thinking skills. 

Yep, and then bitch when something they want doesn’t become canon. However someone ships, fine, go for it. It’s the hellers/minions who seem to think that if they bother enough people and tag tag tag more and become unbearable, that they will get what they want. What they seemed to have succeeded in doing is showing everyone including TPTB’s/writers/showrunners that they won’t be happy, won’t shut up, and will only get worse until their ship is something it’s not. So many people (Hellers/cockles/minions) get so pissy when they are shown actual pics that are nothing like their delusional wants. We didn’t make these gifs/pic sets/etc, the hellers/minions/cockles did. And even better, their response to said proof: “I don’t care!! I’ll see them as I want!!” And scream QUEERBAITING!!! Yeah their critical thinking skills are pretty much non-existent. These same people are the ones throwing vile Twitter messages and tweets to Jared to kill himself because he stands in the way of a FICTIONAL SHIP 🙄🙄🙄🙄

And of course they’re complaining that there’s not enough Misha in the season 11 gag reel.

Why would there be a lot of him in the gag reel? He plays a secondary character, he’s not a main star like Jared and Jensen are. JFC they need to get it through their heads that no matter how much they whine and complain SPN is about Sam and Dean, everyone else, including Asstiel are just bonuses, and the show would go on without them, where it would die if either Sam or Dean was killed off permanently (as if one half of J2 leaves the show the other would follow)

Supernatural continues in spite of Cas and Misha’s subpar acting, the quality of the show noticeable went down hill when they try to force fit Cas into the show after season 6.  No matter how many times the minion and destihellers try to say that Cas “saved” the show, the data simply does not support this.  They can write hundreds of metas saying the sky is green and the grass is blue but the fact remains stubbornly the same, the sky is blue and the grass is green.

i honestly always thought Cas was barely in that season. So it’s not shocking he had so little gag reel footage. He was never there!

The show is about two brothers, Sam and Dean Winchester, who are played by Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles. So, because they are the show LEADS, why the hell would a secondary SUPPORTING CHARACTER have more gag reel time?? 🙄🙄🙄 And what about Mark Sheppard??? Both him and mocha are the same, so why aren’t these people pissed about that??? That’s right because they don’t give a damn about Mark or his character. They are only worried about a side dressing character that helps tell the story of the TWO LEADS….now let me say this once again: Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles are the ONLY LEAD CHARACTERS which means EVERYTHING about the show is about THEM and not about a side character or the actor who plays him. Some people continue to BAIT THEMSELVES that mosha is a main character. Hate to break to some people, he’s not; he SUPPORTS the two LEADS. Nothing more….their bitterness is bittersweet!!! And they HATE TO BE REMINDED THAT HE WILL NEVER BE A LEAD….nice job on the gag reel for season 11! I for one thought that this seasons gag reel was one of the best ones SPN has had in quite some time!
