I pulled all my screenshots off my PS4 so here’s another journey and hopefully more soon of other games as well.

Okay this one I feel better about. Did a quick repaint of this area. Tried to challenge myself by keeping everything on one layer (def out of my comfort zone) except some of the light/glow. Not bad for 1 hour.

I couldn’t sleep and this hit me at 5am cause I suddenly realized people are probably playing Journey again since it’s free rn on ps4(I think still?) so I’d better play it again.

I think I’ve drawn this exact thing before? Oh well.

I was really trying to not make this so busy but it’s hard to capture the atmosphere in the area. It’s like being underwater and there’s this soft haze that makes all the glowy bits extra glowy and the beams of light streaming down into the dark... it’s hard to capture.

Let’s play redraw this old travesty! I was pretty happy with this back in the day, but as time wore on it grew uglier and uglier, not aging well. In 2016 I started a redraw, getting as far as lines and abandoning it back into the void. Now I finally decided to bring it back and what a difference!! I feel like this is finally meeting my vision from so long ago.
