Okay I caved and am now starting a new playthrough except I want to make different choices this time.

Something I’m already rethinking is the mother’s (Caroline?) reaction when she sees Connor exit the elevator. She screams and cries about “why they aren’t sending a real person”. On a first playthrough this originally felt like bias. Like she didn’t believe an android was just as capable as a human agent to save her daughter, Emma.

But I now understand the mom is terrified because an android is currently holding her daughter hostage. An android, who used to care for their family, killed her husband and is now threatening to kill her daughter as well. She is BEING traumatized in that VERY moment.

So I don’t even blame her for being horrified they’re sending in another android to handle the situation. Of course, according to your choices, Connor can get the job done. But I don’t fault the mother for her alarm at seeing him.
