this is especially hilarious because like. humans have always been human. even in 1929, a lot of folks probably would have found this test nonsensical. there's a shoe for every foot, as they say
(my great-grandfather married great-grandma in 1922 despite HER OWN FATHER telling him that she would "make [his] life hell." and indeed, she was a neurotic nightmare who psychologically abused their daughter- my grandma -despite keeping an immaculate house and cooking delicious meals. she was also clairvoyant and may or may not have cast a protection spell on local GIs going off to WWII, that actually worked, but now we're getting off-topic)
