more old OC revisitation - goddess of good fortune, reyanahr, fallen on rather poor luck herself.
my old art gave her a human form that like......was very, i dunno, just human? i wanted to make her more unearthly than that this time, and retain some lapine/lupine features. (her animal form, which she ultimately ends up bound in, is a blend of wolf and hare - i may actually shift that towards fox/hare for theme reasons??)
i never really dove into how The Necromancer (who never got a name) managed to bind her, or the repercussions of that on the setting at large, now i think about it. but boy did he have a good time (derogatory)
#the my art tag#socket's ocs#blood cw#ever rendered the deity of good fortune herself functionally undead??#god there was so much unchewed-on with this story. understandable as i was like 15 but now i'm intrigued by#both the repercussions and what the progression of rey's character was pre-story#because she's fallen pretty far by the time we meet her#and i think i'd like to figure out. you know. what aspects of Bound!Rey shares with her deific form??#when did she like. snap. when did she get the smart mouth. at what point did she stop caring.#and also like...........what was the necromancer even trying to do with her.#was she being harvested for parts?? is that what happened? clearly it didn't get him that far or she stopped being useful.#kid me was too busy vibrating over The Ritual Scene at the end of the story to flesh out the cool shit!! kid socket cmon!!
