So, I just read the new X-Men vol.4 #1 by Brian Wood and Olivier Coipel and it is gooooood. I like the storyline that Brian Wood is starting with and Olivier Coipel's artwork is just the BEST! I will be collecting this series if they continue to be this awesome.
X-Men redesign toon style group 4 all done! This roster was suggested by friends and readers of this tumblr as I asked them to suggest some characters for group 4, so here ya go.

By the way, I'm still asking for people to reply/reblog with character suggestions for group 4 (as I asked for here in the Group 3 blog). I got 2 so far, Shatterstar and White Queen, any other suggestions?
X-Men redesign toon-style group 3 done. I thought it'd be fun to give Rogue goggles though I don't know for the love of me why... well, I guess cos I thought she already looks like a Biplane pilot, might as well go all the way (the scarf, gloves)... as for Kurt, I really like the idea of him being a priest (as a lot of people have been playing with that idea seeing how religious he is). Also, Tom Hiddleston as Kurt.
Now, here's where it gets interesting... Group 4 is up to YOU! The first 4 to reply/reblog with a suggestion will be the characters for Group 4.
I decided to skip work and just finish up the second group of my X-Men redesign toon-style, so here you go. The second group, all done.

Matthew Humphreys continue to inspire me. The Wonder Woman toon-design he did yesterday reminded me of olden days in high school when I used to redesign superheroes costume for fun so after finishing a whole mess of work today, I decided to revisit yonder age and do some redesigns of the X-Men for fun...
One of my art dreams is to one day design characters for a cartoon, whether mine or someone else's or even existing stuff like X-Men so I decided to make a toon-style redesign.
Also, once I got to Shadowcat I was like, "Screw it, these 3/4 poses are boring!" and thus, she has the unique pose in this group.

Good lord, the Avengers are so outnumbered ^o^ (granted, there's A LOT of repeat characters cosplay on the X-Men side, but they I think they're still outnumbered)

Now this theme is done with, I can move on to my next week theme... WEBCOMIC FANART!!! but only 7 webcomics... I gotta choose carefully... don't wanna miss one and go "Awww, man, I should've drawn them too"

Latest daily, Hyakurin vs Emma Frost. No real reason why, they're just awesome blonde bombshells.
Next daily, Anotsu vs Cyclops, because they're both leaders of their respective groups (and can sometimes be douches in their role as well)
A day late, ha ha ha ha, should've done this yesterday... in any case, it's done, my Rin vs Kitty Pryde artwork, my latest daily. Now, my next daily is for the ladies....

Haven't done a daily in awhile. I also recently got caught up with Blade of the Immortal's scanlations (I'm still planning to buy the TPBs soon though I see that Dark Horse only got up to volume 24?) and suddenly got this idea of what if Wolverine met up with Manji. Both are practically immortal though one is innately so but man... what a battle... plus, Wolverine's been to Japan before, this crossover would so kick ass.
Also, I should really start timing my fast sketches...
EDIT: I just realised, Manji can't cut off Wolverine's arm cos of the adamantium bone... oh well, this'll just be the phase when Magneto took out the adamantium out of Wolverine's body (though the costume he's wearing says otherwise) or maybe Manji got the Muramasa, the blade that can kill Wolverine (in the comics)
