Matthew Humphreys continue to inspire me. The Wonder Woman toon-design he did yesterday reminded me of olden days in high school when I used to redesign superheroes costume for fun so after finishing a whole mess of work today, I decided to revisit yonder age and do some redesigns of the X-Men for fun...

One of my art dreams is to one day design characters for a cartoon, whether mine or someone else's or even existing stuff like X-Men so I decided to make a toon-style redesign.

Also, once I got to Shadowcat I was like, "Screw it, these 3/4 poses are boring!" and thus, she has the unique pose in this group.

More to come? Maybe.... maybe...

To celebrate Stan Lee's birthday, here's a drawing I did of Cyclops for the Marvel Guys in Hot Pants series...

Okay, truth, I didn't draw this for Stan Lee's birthday... I drew this like a month and a half ago for just in case the demand for Marvel Guys in Hot Pants was big enough for me to create a book, but the demand did not reach the intended notes so I decided to shelf this artwork for awhile... but I figure, you know what, it's The Man's birthday today, why not just put this out there for fun.

I haven't done artwork for fun for so long, so, being inspired by artworks that I see posted in my tumblr dashboard (especially that of Hanie's DC Girls in Sweaters) I decided to try my best for dailies but no more themes! Just whatever dailies, just whatever comes to mind kind of dailies... and the first one that came to my mind was Scott Summers... also, I want all my drawings to have backgrounds now, not just random pattern stuff anymore, I wanna have actual backgrounds... so yeah, I drew ruins for Scott's place...

The second one was a suggestion (made in jest and totally not serious, but I figure why not take the challenge anyway) by a friend, a sort of parody of Hanie's DC Girls in sweaters, Marvel Guys in hot pants... and the first guy? ROM THE SPACEKNIGHT!! Will this be daily? Nope, just when I have an idea, ha ha ha ha.
