HAHAHAHAHABS 😭 Yup, that’s exactly what I saw, I had no image to look at for that drawing, and didn’t drew her in a long time (I’m sorry Midna, I didn’t want to disrespect you like that-)

No but imagine how terrified EoW Zelda is when she faces puppet Link.. the hero of legend himself. A literal master in swordfighting and like 20 other types of weapons

Imagine how terrified the Hero of Legend is, falling just like the knights he once was hunted by, and forced to fight the princess he would die for

in my defense, i had like a minute left on my lunch-break and was just trying to finish the one sentence before I had to head back to the grind.

But yeah, it's been haunting my brain since I found out, because anything I see is just along the lines of "Legend would be so done with this" or "I think Legend would just sort of accept that his life would eventually come to this" but...

Like, that is literally him being forced to embody everything he most despises? To become like the people who hurt him? To have spent his whole life achieving one purpose only to be forced to turn around and destroy it!

You cannot tell me Legend doesn't have trauma from the knights trying to kill him as a kid. You can't tell me that seeing people who (based off in game lines) knew him, were friendly and kind to him, suddenly turn around and hunt him down viciously, WHEN HE WAS A CHILD wouldn't mess him up! And now? To have to put Zelda through that same thing? I don't care if they're siblings, friends or a couple, that is his princess, his one constant, his reason to keep going, someone he LOVES and he's being forced to attack her.

Is he conscious? Is he awake inside his head, watching? Screaming?

When he gets back control, how will he handle that? What if she flinches now when he moves too fast? What if she is afraid of him?

I know we like to joke that Legend is an ass, but guys, he's still serving Hyrule after this long because he cares, because he loves his people, because under the thorns he's still that sweet kid who just wants to help. And now? That's been violated; even that has been taken from him.

What does he do if he can't trust himself anymore? What if he thinks he'll turn out like the figures in the Palace of the Four Sword now? What if he has to live the rest of his life fearing that Ganon could take control back at any instant and cause him to do unspeakable things?

What if that's the thing that finally breaks the hero who did everything?!?!?!?
