alejandro and tyler started to slowly switch roles after tdwt. it used to be tyler in the hospital 24/7, but after the end of tdwt alejandro's burns were so bad he had to go to the hospital 24/7, and tyler would always visit him every chance he got.
due to the severity of alejandro's burns, tyler knew he wouldn't make it far but he didn't want to think about that. but at the same time, seeing alejandro in a hospital bed was scary. to tyler. but he always wanted to be there for alejandro, like he promised.
but he didn't expect the chapter of alejandro to be short. and alejandro's final words to him? "i'll be okay"
due to this, tyler developed such a big fear of fires and lava.
i love it when the whole td fandom collectively agrees on a headcanon. like noah with red glasses, trent having OCD (which is implied i think), tyler's mom being absent, bridgette being a stoner and eva having a preference in girls.

due to alejandro having a heavy accent, sometimes his words are misheard and so when alejandro was referring to tyler, he said "he" but to tyler it sounded like alejandro was saying "she" and "out of nowhere", tyler started crying. luckily it was only in front of alejandro and noah, but it was still embarrassing to him because he realized alejandro didn't actually misgender him, he just misheard him
tyler has always been scared of noah blackmailing him, since noah was the only one who knew he was ftm
tyler was TERRIFIED every time there was a swimming challenge involve. why? top surgery scars.
I also hc his last name to be Íkaros in reference to Greece's Pieces when his wings melted which is a reference to Icarus, the man who flew too close to the sun which made him lose his wings!
