alejandro and tyler started to slowly switch roles after tdwt. it used to be tyler in the hospital 24/7, but after the end of tdwt alejandro's burns were so bad he had to go to the hospital 24/7, and tyler would always visit him every chance he got.

due to the severity of alejandro's burns, tyler knew he wouldn't make it far but he didn't want to think about that. but at the same time, seeing alejandro in a hospital bed was scary. to tyler. but he always wanted to be there for alejandro, like he promised.

but he didn't expect the chapter of alejandro to be short. and alejandro's final words to him? "i'll be okay"

due to this, tyler developed such a big fear of fires and lava.

My mad artist brain has been thinking of doing a TD rewrite that takes the characters and setting in new directions, along with viewing the show through a new lens. Anyways, while I was thinking about baseline stuff, I ended up thinking about how Courtney being trans could re-contextualize a lot about her character, especially with her perfectionism and her constant desire to always be in the right, since she doesn’t want to be seen as something she clearly isn’t. Perhaps the reason she latches onto outsiders like Duncan and Gwen is since she doesn’t need to meet any expectations, they just respect her for who she is. (I was also thinking of doing Transmasc Duncan too)

Plus, on another note, do want to talk more about ideas for my potential rewrite, so if y’all are I’d interested in that, I can gladly treat you. Hell maybe even suggest some ideas of your as well.

anyways here is alenoah! (In a au where tdi didn't take place)

- They met by both trying to become school presidents. Noah won, obviously. Alejandro started picking up feelings when he noticed how smart Noah was.

- Alejandro always insisted on going to Noah's house because he didn't want José to know about him and Noah.

- Noah had dated Emma and Cody before dating Alejandro. There was a long pass in time before he met Alejandro because he didn't want to seem like he would just break up with Alejandro because that is what he did with everyone else. Alejandro reassures him that he loves Noah very much and that he knows Noah loves him too. That's all that matters to him.

- Noah insisted he is a dog person but the moment Alejandro got a cat Noah would make sure the cat slept on the bed with them every night.

- I imagine the cat being a dark born shelter cat with one of his ears gone. His name is Truffle and Noah adores him

when Alejandro was younger his parents were strict and didn't allow him to have any electronics but José did. One night Alejandro snuck awake and took Josés phone. He was originally the one to sign up for TD:WT but Alejandro refilled the application with himself and deleted the audition video.

Chris didn't even bother that there was no audition, he got his interns to check them out and they didn't notice the lack of one. Alejandro only signed up to trick José and get away from his toxic family environment. Now his family hates him and the public does.

Bonus: Carlos (the oldest brother) ran away at a young age. He left a note for Alejandro who was just born at the time, telling him that he will come get him someday. Carlos traveled far away and lived a long life with his wife before passing away of a heart disease. Alejandro has always kept the note and still reads it, wondering when Carlos will come back.

alejandro is really desensitized to awful shit because of José/his family. Like he could walk outside and people would be calling him slurs and he'd be like 'damn bro okay'

on top of that he could've been a really emotional child growing up but he pushed down his feelings so much to honor his family/keep up his perfect reputation to the point he cannot feel anymore. All he knows is manipulation and there is no turning back now. He's ruined.
