The only reason this blog isn’t deleted is because of the people I used to follow. I don’t want to lose my one connection with all you cool people. I liked reading about your lives, your struggles, your successes. Even if I’m purposefully locking myself out of this blog as much as humanly possible, it’s nice to know you’re still out there. I hope you’re all doing well.
In the meantime, all of my other blogs are active, such as my art and reference blog. This blog is queued to hell and back and may occasionally cross post from my art blog. I wish I could just move all 2,000+ over to the art blog, but I’m really at your whims.
I've been going out of my way to jump ship and remove the dash experience entirely for a long time (sporadically for at least a few years now that I think about it, uuuh w o w),and managed to make everything possible without this account FINALLY. But I just can’t delete all of you. Still, I’m just too tired. I’m doing better and drawing a lot every single day, now. Even if I can’t afford a damn thing freelancing, there’s that.

I wish there were more discussion about friendship breakups and how hard they are. Romantic breakups have songs, movies, cultural weight. You can talk about breaking up with a significant other on social media and expect sympathy. Nobody talks about breaking up with friends.
I know that’s because of amatonormativity and how romantic relationships are seen as ‘more important’ than friendship. Which is bullshit. We need to talk more about the importance of friendship and how much it hurts when suddenly someone you thought you knew and trusted decides you’re no longer an important part of their life.
This obviously doesn’t just apply to arospec people. It just been on my mind a lot recently and I thought it’s something aro people could really relate to.

Sorry about the previous post. The autoposter only posted the first strip, so I had to delete it and repost by hand.
Commentary: I have been doing strips a few weeks ahead of time recently and when I did this, I did the first strip by itself. But when 241 came out there was some discussion about the other side of the coin, about how awful it is to be abandoned (or feel like you’re abandoned), and I knew I had to put the other side of the story in somehow. Now, it feels more balance and it shows how the two people are approaching this from their respective contexts and needs, and highlights how truly incompatible they are. She is thinking of the future, he is thinking of surviving minute by minute let alone the future.
This is the kind of thing where even negative opinions of a comic can inform and make a better strip later on down the road, so I’m quite grateful for them.
Tumblr does not like it when I post double comics and the graphics look really lousy.
