Fic Requests Open

Got that urge to write some one shots. If anyone wants a one shot from me for a Black Ops character shoot me an ask with a character or characters with a prompt.

I’ll say I’m best at writing Woods (duh), Mason, Adler, Hudson, Marshall, Sims, and Park. 18+ only no spicy asks from anons (I can block out your name if you want).

Doesn’t have to be shippy either I do write some good conversations as well if you just want someone to have a small moment.

Just What I Needed - Chapter 25

Word Count: 5043

Frank Woods x CoD Bell

Frank and Mila go on something that looks a lot like a date, but it isn't a date.

The plastic groaned in protest as Mila pressed the speaker closer to her ear. The record store fell away as the synth beat took hold of her.  It was unlike any music she had ever heard. She could become lost in it. She was used to holding in her feelings, not giving away much that was on her mind. But the sound inexplicably made her want to move.

But how would anyone dance to this?

Just What I Needed - Chapter 24

Frank Woods x CoD Bell

Woods rounded the corner quickly, his hand pressing into the banister as he propelled himself upward. Just ahead, Mason was taking each step two at a time.

“Fuck she’s fast! Was she always this fast?!” Mason exclaimed.

Woods didn’t respond. He was still in pain from the kick Bell had given him in the shoulder. It had come out of nowhere.

When he and Mason had brought her back to the apartment, she had been completely unconscious. Then he came back to her room, and she took him by surprise. Fully awake and ready for a fight.

Just What I Needed - Chapter 22

Brows raised, Woods peered up through the grated roof of the old elevator as it ascended in its slow fashion up to his floor.

He hadn’t been looking forward to returning to that cold, empty apartment. And so what should have been one beer with Mason had easily turned to two and then three.

Woods had so quickly become used to having someone around during his downtime.

The low rumble of the train was almost soothing. After spending a day and a half in and out of fighting sleep, Bell could feel her eyelids growing heavy again. Leaning forward onto her elbows, she allowed her body to sway with the train. She had even gotten used to the feeling of sitting on the cold, stiff bench.

Used to the smell of the overpacked compartment.

Or maybe she had just gone numb.

The metal folding chair squeaked under his weight as he shifted to lean his elbows on his knees. They were in the lab, which made him uneasy. But Hudson hadn’t wanted to give this talk around Bell.

Everyone began to shift in their seats as the briefing wrapped up. Anxious to get back to their work. Or grab a smoke.

Mason wanted to take the chance to talk to Bell. And maybe convince Woods to come with him.

A hand gently touched her shoulder to rouse her.

Bell could feel the mattress shift as someone sat down next to her. Without opening her eyes, she grabbed the edge of the bedcovers and pulled them over her shoulder, knocking the hand away.

All she wanted was to sleep.

Not ready to face whatever they had in store for her today.

She heard a hollow thud as something was set down on her nightstand.

The scent of coffee hit her nose.

“Brought you coffee,” He said quietly. At the sound of that familiar gravelly voice, her eyes snapped open.

“Fuck!”

Woods hunched his shoulders as gunfire shattered the glass in the adjoining room.

A sudden bright light disoriented him even though he wasn’t looking at it directly. His ears rang, muffling all other sounds.

He thought Mason was shouting, but it sounded like everything was underwater.

Hell of a fucking time for someone to throw a flashbang. He didn’t even have seconds to think; he needed to abandon his work. The thermite was going to go off either way. It would be better if it weren’t in his face. Fighting the urge to puke, he turned. Having an idea of where Mason was, he shoved him square in the chest before throwing himself to the ground.

Just What I Needed - Chapter 17

It was nearly night when they reached the town.

Chornobyl-2. Once a secret town for Russian military service members and their families. Now? Who knows what condition they would find it in?

Or who might be waiting for them?

He trudged through the forest. The singular narrow road leading into the town made it difficult to approach by car. So on foot, it was.

He was used to this.

He, of course, had had worse.

Just What I Needed - Chapter 16

Author’s note: since it’s been [checks notes] three months (yikes), here’s a recap. Bell got lost in her mind during a session. Park and Hudson looped Adler in on everything to get him to pull her out. Bell finally told Woods that Adler shot her in Solovetsky and that she had very briefly debated sabotaging that final mission by sending everyone straight into an ambush at Duga. This prompted Adler, Woods, and Mason to go investigate Duga (which we will see the events of probably next chapter), leaving Hudson to watch over Bell.

“Come on,” Hudson didn’t hide the irritation in his voice as he nudged the mattress with his foot, “Bell, get up.”

She groaned.

The past few days had been challenging at best. They had attempted a few sessions with Bell to no avail. Park chalked it up to stress.

When Bell wasn’t in a session, she slept.

Usually, Hudson wouldn’t give a shit what she was doing, but he had Black breathing down his neck. Days without results were unacceptable and trying Black’s patience wouldn’t end well.

“Hey,” Woods shoved a fry in his mouth. Bell paused as she was about to take a bite of her Burger and looked up at him, waiting for him to continue.

They had stopped at Burger Town on the way home.

Woods parked the van, but told Bell to wait in the van. Despite her reassurances that she was fine he still seemed concerned for her.

So Woods went inside to get the food.

Woods yawned and took a sip from his cup of coffee. The elevator came to a grinding halt at the building lobby, jostling the liquid in his mug.

Pulling the gate open, he stepped out.

On the ledge of the security desk, sat several piles of various newspapers. Woods grabbed a local paper and a familiar one from the US. He waved at the security guard and shoved the papers under his arm before getting back on the elevator.

He took another sip of his coffee and wondered if Mason would be up now.

Probably not.

July 24, 1981

Earlier that evening

Mason turned off the van. He unbuckled his seatbelt and twisted his torso to look in the back.

Woods had already hopped out of the passenger’s seat and opened the sliding side door.

“Is she awake?”
