Someone must’ve been a particularly savvy trooper to have saved for this bad boy and brought him on the trip. That or it was requisitioned to someone else, but you don’t mind! This Miniturized Operations Manual should come with a bunch of instructions as to how to use equipment, weighs a convenient 10lbs, aaaand comes standard with a sideloading Cassette Drive!
You know what that means?
Had to split it up just to address this beautiful response an anon made. Plus gives me an opportunity to actually provide some background information in a somewhat concrete way. I’ll try and not make it too “tell-y” and more “showy”.
Other people have raised some great ideas as to how to use the other equipment in the box. I’ll try and address those too once the time comes.
A big theme for this year is picking up the pace.

It's hard to say if Slim is doing better or WORSE than you. Probably worse, actually. Panic! I mean... Make haste! Better'd get a move on. Gotta get to the rendezvous point as quickly as possible. And don't panic. Yeah.

“COLONY CORPS MARCH!” You’d say, to yourself, to probably boost your confidence, neglecting that yes there is at least one other person with you now.
Light embarrassment is at least marginally better than panic. Or at least one would hope.
Its been a bit of a wacky couple of weeks again, with things ranging from family visits to being slightly robbed while at work.
Needless to say, I’m working on more “small bits” in anticipation of a big interactive bit coming up.

You managed to turn off that annoying siren. This seems more momentous than it probably should be, but you have to say without the constant red warning lights making you feel like something is going wrong constantly you can now do the exact opposite of that! Perhaps even feeling like something is going right, if at least for the moment.
And we turned off the flashy strobe light thing.
Good for us. Good for me. Since I won’t have to worry about remembering to time animations to a strobing light any more.
