Quick Costume for Decima on Halloween. We did sort of drop a pyramid on a troll during our Witchlight game... and thereby introduced Ankhtepot to the land of Yon.
Probaly not in store for some Anck-Su-Namun style case of mistaken identity with the guy, he seems more preoccupied with finding his Ka. A sword fight is probably on the table though.
Scabetha lies defeated, Jin's Ambassador meets his demise at Mipsy's Bearclaw, and in the aftermath harm has come to people Decima cares about. Valoa has a mission from her goddess now that her fashion sense is back.
There were additional trinkets I wanted to add, such as Valoa's cool new item, and an addional Phyrexian thing but I've only got so much hours in the day, and I want to get back to doing bigger art pieces.

Where petty tyrants and courts feud with themselves and bandits hop about beating people up. Bablorna mostly occupies herself with improving her trade, letting her underlings merely keep everyone else preoccupied.

A good/fun excuse to practice the writing half of these trinket pics, since they're mostly very similar images. Also has been a bit of a fun research project, trying to plumb canon mtg cards for mention of songs and lyrics. Can people recognize any songs mentioned in the descriptions?
Various assorted trinkets of no particular theming this time.
Some relate to old events (finally deploying the bag of beans, bracers that were part of some loot), others are recent (Decima did just donate a couple fingers). Others still were mere flights of fancy, trying to figure out what else to make.
Today's Trinket Theme is
The mint wars are over, commemorated with a hastily mashed together mint taffy treat by Decima. Now to her immense displeasure, it tastes horrible. But unity is worth the pain. Just barely.
Butterfly Polypop was a fun and useful treatlet that was used to scout out and investigate Scabetha's horrid factory.
Cieling Candy was a goofy idea the GM ran with after an offhand mention.
Toothybaby, used for scamming the toothfairy, essentially a beanie baby full of teeth, that could be traded for a ton of dosh all at once. If you're lucky.
Eugene is Decima's terrible dog. Only natural for the little guy to have a ball to play fetch with.
Lily the Harengon helped create/contain the Phyrexian Ant Farm after a brief injury threatened to ruin the local ecosystem... Another taste of "Oh people think Decima is dangerous. And perhaps they are right."
Urabrask inspired with a little bit of fabulous killjoys, behold Punk!cima. Honestly got a few good ideas on how to phyrexianify her more after working on this. May need to figure out legs a little more. Also honestly just a quick doodle.
Companion piece to Anime!Decima... Just going to town and eviscerating a baddie.

Furnace Dollbomb, has been hanging around for a while, just waiting to use her on something worthwhile.
Decima has finally regained her moral compass, and rather than it being the solution to her uncertainty, she now knows how bad of a phyrexian she's being when she doesn't compleat people and cull the weak. She also knows she doesn't feel too bad about being bad at being a phyrexian.... That feels worse.
The compass was found within the Obsidian Steed, a phyrexianized nightmare warhorse that was no help in a fight with a lady named Fistiana, at least until Decima got really mad at it/Urabrask/Argyle and took that anger out on the aforementioned Fistiana.
The Twicewrit Missive has been something Decima has had in her back pocket for a while... She's worried about sending it. And what sort of answer it will bring, with "No response" being her worst case scenario.
Decima's Weird Blinkdog. He's made of copper and porcelain. He's pretty engaging if a bit of a subservient yesman. Speaks the scratchspeech of Phyrexia. A good-ish boy rescued from a dog funeral.
Can turn small animals inside out via teleportation, thus "Full-Body Prolapse" technique.
The Fearsome Lady Dame Angelhair the Pure, from the brief foray into the domains of dread that lasted well past Halloween. A pasta themed deva complete with overblown fantasy metaphorical cheese costuming.
Bringer of very confusing feelings. Decima and company had 'fun' helping out in the struggle against the candied hoard of mintsrosities.
Some treasure party members acquired in a recent adventure. The Lyre of Building is of special note, being New Phyrexian in origin.
Though the symbol from Greyhawk is also groovy.
This is honestly the first time I've done mostly 'canon' trinkets.
One trinket received as a gift, lead to twelve trinkets, given as gifts over the holidays. The classic "Baker's Dozen" twelve things and one is different.
