I know this is a lot to ask, I really do.
My mum has had dentures since she was a young adult and her jaws have shrunk to the point where the denturist can’t do much with the dentures so that they fit well enough. They hurt her, and she can’t eat properly.
I’ve seen her have to call it quits during a meal because she just can’t handle wearing the dentures anymore.
Even though she hasn’t said much about it, I can see that she’s in pain when she wears them, especially when eating.
Mum wears them only about half the time now, which is something she never used to do.
I’m worried about her.
I’ve convinced her to start a gofundme, like I had.
She doesn’t have much hope that she’ll get the surgery. I’m going to be trying to sell things to raise money for the cause, and post that stuff here along with trying to boost her campaign.
