Oddish keeps its body buried underground during the day, surfacing only at night. It can easily be mistaken for a clump of weeds. If someone tries to yank it out of the ground, Oddish emits a terrible shriek and releases a sticky stench that is almost impossible to remove.

Grass Poison type
Gloom emits a foul fragrance from the pistil of its flower, which intensifies when it senses danger. Their stench is so strong, people with little exposure to Gloom report headaches, light headedness and memory loss upon smelling it for the first time. Despite its unpleasant scent, Gloom's nectar is a crucial ingredient in high-end perfumes, helping fragrances cling and last longer.

Grass Poison Type
Vileplume has the largest petal-to-body ratio among Flower Pokémon, using its massive petals to attract prey before dousing them with toxic spores. Once immobilized, this Pokémon captures and devours its victims. Some people harvest its spores to refine them into an aromatic spice with mild numbing properties. Due to the danger involved in harvesting, Vileplume spice is extremely expensive, but its rich, concentrated flavor means only a pinch is needed to season up to 100 servings of most dishes.

Grass Fairy type
When Bellossom absorbs enough sunlight, the leaves around its body begin to spin as it dances joyfully. As the petals rub together, they release a sweet, soothing aroma into the air. Bellossom that evolved from particularly pungent Gloom produce the most vibrant, fragrant, and flavorful flowers, the stinkier the better.

The Buoyant Pokémon
Normal type
Azurill spins its tail like a lasso and hurls it, using the momentum to launch its body through the air. One Azurill set a record by flinging itself 10 meters this way. Its tail is both bouncy and buoyant, much like a pool toy. On sunny days, they gather at the water's edge to splash and play. If an Azurill drifts away, it can float on its tail and survive on the nutrients stored inside it, lasting up to 200 days while it finds its way back to solid ground.

The Bouyant Pokémon
Water type
Marill can shift its body weight to adapt to different situations. Normally, its light body floats above water while its heavy tail anchors it for stability. When searching for food, Marill’s body becomes denser, allowing it to sink beneath the water, while its tail lightens to serve as a buoy. If you see only a tail bobbing at the surface, it's a sure sign that Marill is diving below to feed on aquatic plants.

To all the fans/followers on tumblr, I just want to say thanks from the bottom of my heart. I know I haven't been around here much in the last few years... to be honest I've been social media-ing less and less pretty much everywhere. Maybe that was the cost of actually making W2H2? I'm not sure. But when I think back about interacting with everyone on tumblr in the years following W2H, it's really sweet and nostalgic for me. I was going thru some rough times, and knowing that there were people out there who saw my dumb little short and connected with it, and wanted to spend more time with the characters... that's really important for an artist. So I genuinely can't thank you guys enough. There would be no W2H2 without the W2H Fandom. I know it's been 10 years, but... thank you for everything. Enjoy!
(PS - you guys got the only heartfelt side-note. Twitter got a "eeehhhHHHHhhhhhHHHHhhhhh", and Youtube got a "please don't be mean to me, I worked really hard on this just to be broke for my entire adult life so far, you GHOULS". So you know I mean it!)

Overview of some topics when it comes to drawing characters who are burn survivors.
DISCLAIMER. Please keep in mind that this is an introductory overview for drawing some burn scars and has a lot of generalizations in it, so not every “X is Z” statement will be true for Actual People. I'm calling this introductory because I hope to get people to actually do their own research before drawing disabled & visibly different characters rather than just making stuff up. Think of it as a starting point and take it with a grain of salt (especially if you have a very different art style from mine).
Talking about research and learning... don't make your burn survivor characters evil. Burn survivors are normal people and don't deserve to be constantly portrayed in such a way.

How are people seeing this post where I specifically talk about burn survivors being normal, real people, and still tag this as "TW body horror"? Not a single one of these drawings or pictures is a fresh injury. All of them are healed. How the hell would you feel if someone tagged a photo of you as "trigger warning: gore"?
Disabled people are not your fucking body horror. Grow up.
If looking at someone makes you squeamish, with all the compassion I can muster, you have to get over it.
Don’t be an asshole. Privately desensitize yourself to seeing scars. Engage with art & media & disabled people’s blogs. Imbed it into your brain that they’re normal. And, for some fucking reason, you don’t feel like doing that, JUST MOVE ON. It’s absurdly childish to point at people like a playground bully and go “EWWW”
