Some disgruntled Dickkory “fans” insist on calling her weak/ claiming she doesn't have super strength. It's a lie and I can't see any reason to make those digs at her other than being a hater. first of all dick lied, let’s be real here.
but I love this part of his stubbornness. he’s letting Kory know that yes the prophecy said this ends with you, you have to be the one to sacrifice yourself, but I’m not gonna let that happen. he’s letting her know that she’s not doing this alone and telling her that this will not end with her dying.
Also love that Kory is all about protecting her family. She believes the prophecy and if someone has to die she willing to sacrifice herself so that her family lives. 🥹
Did he just say we was grateful that Kory saved his live in S2 when tried he to sacrifice himself because we never got to see that conversation

I think Brenton makes a conscious choice to put everything into his scenes with Anna. The chemistry wasn't there with the others but he also just wasn't trying to make it work with Minka or Savannah. Brenton only does all these extra quirks in scenes with Anna.
It really was always Kory.
