Husky sledding in Tromsø, Norway in the Blue Hour
In January, the sun rises for all of an hour in Tromsø, bathing the landscape in a beautiful blue light. The best way to see the wild winter landscape in the blue light is by husky sled, returning back to the kennels when the sky darkens to purple.

Crocodile on a stroll at the Morjim beach
The soft morning light, gentle waves crashing at the shore, and a mild breeze waving through your hair makes a perfect morning at a sea beach. Well, a local resident of Morjim beach also thought as much when he was out on his morning stroll. An accidental meeting with a fellow jogger, an adult saltwater crocodile last Friday, gave him the surprise of his life, and the chance to happily click a few pictures of this strange morning. Morjim is a village in Pernem, Goa, on the east coast of Arabian Sea, and a popular tourist destination. 30 km from the state capital (Panaji), Morjim beach is situated on the northern bank of the Chapora River estuary. Every year, three million people visit this Indian beach, and it is especially popular among Russian tourists leading it to have the nickname Little Russia. According to Goa State Forest Conservator, Mr. D. N. F. Carvalho, the crocodile, a probable resident of the Chapora river area, must have "strayed away from his home most likely chased by the dogs and that is why it ended there,” (sic) on the beach. These crocodiles are known as opportunistic predators with enormous habitat range, so experts believe it is not uncommon for one to walk out on a beach. At the same time, they have warned people to remain wary of this wild beast and to immediately apprise the forest department on seeing one. --RB.
