A nice dac  ammonite I collected on my last visit to kettleness, it split very well showing a lot of nice detail on the inside of the nodule

Here’s an ancient stone we picked up from the rocky shore following a storm ☔️🤯 We’ve featured this epic video before, and felt it deserved to be shown again! 🏝 The waterfall was rushing down, amongst the water lay this specimen, it split open well 😍🦕 Inside was a perfect Dactylioceras, 185 Million Years Old from the Upper Lias, Lower Jurassic! I’ve not been posting on my page much lately as we have been working on a few other projects! I’ve also been settling into work as a Junior Doctor, which I am thoroughly enjoying 🤓 The Fossil content will be back up and running soon though! Here’s a short video of me using an electric engraver to pop the rock off a little promicroceras ammonite I found on the Jurassic coast. I’ve been preparing a lot of these recently 😊👍

Here’s one of my biggest ammonite surprises lately!! 🐊🏝 I genuinely had no idea that ALL of these ammonites would be inside! What a feeling when it opened up 😍🤯 Excellent hammer blow by my brother and ‘personal trainer’ Shae!

On today’s hunt we came across this slab of shale with many fossils that had unfortunately worn away! 🌊🏝 Beneath the surface, around a hundred compressed fossilised shells were hiding! 🐚🐊 We also found a few lovely ammonites including a piece of wood with rare Pleuroceras ammonites fossilised alongside it!!
