Waimea canyon The island of Kauai is the oldest of the major Hawaiian Islands. On its southeast shoreline, a gigantic nickpoint opens that travels 15 kilometers into the island. Waimea canyon is the largest canyon in the Pacific Ocean and it exposes over 1000 meters of the lavas that compose Kauai Volcano.

Baishuitai falls Its hard to look at this cascade and think that it’s a natural feature, not something made by a construction company. The name Baishuitai Falls literally translates to “White Water Terraces”. These terraces are found on a series of streams and springs deep in China’s Yunan Province on the eastern side of Tibet.

Here’s an ancient stone we picked up from the rocky shore following a storm ☔️🤯 We’ve featured this epic video before, and felt it deserved to be shown again! 🏝 The waterfall was rushing down, amongst the water lay this specimen, it split open well 😍🦕 Inside was a perfect Dactylioceras, 185 Million Years Old from the Upper Lias, Lower Jurassic! I’ve not been posting on my page much lately as we have been working on a few other projects! I’ve also been settling into work as a Junior Doctor, which I am thoroughly enjoying 🤓 The Fossil content will be back up and running soon though!
