The Road Trip Story.. This was my favorite trip I've ever done and was so lucky to spend it with such amazing people. My hope with this video was to capture at least a fraction of the good times we had, and to have this to look back on fondly for years to come.

Waking up at first light. Staying up for last light. Camping together and sharing a road trip experience with other photographers. This is something I've always wanted to do. This is the Banff and Glacier road trip." Part 2: "We spent the next several days exploring Banff and the surrounding area, and I have to say, I've never been somewhere with so much natural beauty in all my life. I don't think there are many situations that make me happier, than running around incredible landscapes like these ones, camera in hand, and with great friends by my side."
A Travel Film by: Michael Bliss Thank you for watching.
· travisburkephotography I was going to post a picture of me standing out on the ledge... but figured this video was a little more "exciting"! 😜 Peaceful morning near Moab, Utah with nothing but the faint sound of the highway below.

CITIES WITH STARS
Light pollution, while a testament to our technological advances, has blanketed our view of the universe and decoupled our relationship with the cosmos. For the billions of people living in areas where less than 20 stars can be seen in the night sky, it is practically impossible to imagine a natural sky blanketed with upwards of 2,500 stars backed by great ribbons of billions of stars which can be found in our Galaxy: The Milky Way.
Just how different would our city skies look, if there was no artificial lighting?
Thierry Cohen, a photographer from Paris has help curb our curiosity. Thierry travelled to areas where light pollution was minimal and that were on the same axis as big cities he had chosen. He then superimposed these images with the city landscape- creating what the city would look like without any electricity. The results are stunning.
It’s hard not to wonder what the world would be like if we could see a brilliant dark sky every night. One could assume that it would affect our humility. Without the nightly reminder of a vast cosmos, it is easy to forget how small we are, how connected.
In short, and in the words of Bill Watterson:
“If people sat outside and looked at the stars each night, I'll bet they'd live a lot differently. ”

Yeah the video was produced by a car company and sadly no they’re not paying me for this. But you know what? That’s Torres Del Paine and the Paine Massif in the background. I’m still sharing it. Original caption:
Filmmaker Kalum Ko accompanies Australian photographer Jason Charles Hill during his latest trip in the Mercedes-Benz G-Class on his way through Patagonia.
Jason is an exceptional example of someone carving out his own path. Originally, he had a clear, reliable destiny in an office job. However, it didn’t take him long to realize that the predictable, safe path wasn’t for him. Instead, he chose to pursue his passions and now travels the world professionally, sharing his experiences through photography.
This photographer gives some highlights of his recent trip to Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument, on the verge of being cut in half.

This is the first one of the mini series #LifeChangingPlaces that follows people who went to a trip that in some form changed their lives. My team and I spent 9 days on the magical island formation Lofoten in northern Norway to capture the beauty that changed Chris Burkards whole approach to photography.
