Welcome to one of my favorite hikes in Chile, Laguna Cerró castillo. It was a spectacular day hike in the northern Patagonia region of Cerro Castillo. The whole area is quite remote and we had this whole hike only to ourselves.
P.S: You can see my brother @salmansabir1559 uttering random words which makes no sense.
The "Route of Parks" project connects 17 national parks on a set of remote hiking trails through some of the most amazing landscapes on Earth, from the northern tip of Chile to the south.

It says a lot about Patagonia that this amazing footage is the B-roll material that wasn't used in this videographer's first feature on the site. I love the clear shot of Cerro Chaltén (Mt. Fitz Roy) early in this clip.

María and I took a surprise trip to Chile and I just got around to making a video about it. We rented a car and drove all the way down La Carretera Austral, or Highway 7, through fjords, austral rainforests, and quite a few ferry crossings. We made it from Santiago to Punta Arenas and along the way we saw lots of our Chilean family, ate our weight in empanadas, and even spotted some guanacos.

I literally went into the wild in Patagonia all by myself, with only a backpack, a tent, a little stove and a lot of food to be self-sufficient the entire time. I hiked the 135 km long O-trek in Torres del Paine in Chile for 9 days, hiked for 3 days in the El Chaltèn area in Argentina (Mt. Fitz Roy and Cerro Torre) and been to the Perito Moreno glacier. Filmed in March 2019.
