Jurassic Mug
I fell in love when I see this mug for the first time so I had to buy it.
geologyinaction A gift from one of my very favorite students! It's a mug with a map of the world on it that when you pour hot water into it, transforms the coastline of the earth to reflect catastrophic sea level change due to climate change and polar ice cap melting.

I painted a mug based on the MOLA topographic map of Mars. It was so much fun! The boundary between yellow and green is where zero elevation should be counted from - towards red is positive and towards blue is negative elevation. The white is the Tharsis plateau and the Valles Marineris
