Okoshiki Seashore
This is an incredible tidal flat with sand dunes that are submerged at high tide and exposed and dry out at low tide.

When I made it to Fuji, I had to witness amazing sunset conditions from the bus window as it was slowly making its way to the final stop. When we made it, I rushed out of the bus to try and capture it but didn’t make it in time... I woke up the next morning before everyone else in the city, walked to a place I spotted a couple of years ago and witnessed one of the most insane Sunrise I ever saw. This is what I captured...

Chichi-Jima This view captures the eroded, volcanic shoreline of ChichiJima or Chichi Island, an island within the Ogasawara Islands off the southern coast of Japan.
Mountains of the rising sun This is pretty neat, this is a view of the highest peak in Japan from the second highest peak at sunrise. Mount Kitadake has a height of 3,193 meters, about 600 meters shorter than the lovely cone in the distance.

Mashu Blue This delightful feature is Lake Mashu, found within Akan National Park on Hokkaido Island, Japan. The park is centered on a gigantic volcano, the Akan Volcanic Complex, which is composed of a number of mountains and lakes inside a 20-kilometer wide caldera.
Gold and ore Most people have probably seen images of gold nuggets at some point in their lives…you might have even dreamed of finding one. Sometimes that is actually how gold is found out in the real world – as an extremely gold-rich deposit, but it’s not always that way. The big rock in this photo is a block of gold ore from the Toi Gold Mine in Japan.
A one year trip around the world, for those who can't travel it today. Original caption:
"My girlfriend and I embarked on April 2017 on this epic life-changing experience around the world. We came back one year later with our minds blown away. As a dying android once said: “I've seen things you people wouldn't believe.” As months went by, I never ceased to be amazed by the diversity and the boiling life of our planet, I wanted to share this feeling with others and make a tribute to the Earth and its inhabitants, at a special time in our history when carefulness and respect are most needed. This video showcases one year around the world, from underwater to 6000m peaks, from active volcanoes to Asian temples, a journey of a lifetime. The countries we visited and in the video: Nepal, Japan, Indonesia, Myanmar, Thailand, Malaysia, New Zealand, Nouvelle-Calédonie, Vanuatu, Chile, Argentina, Bolivia, Perú, Canada. I came back in spring 2018 with around 7 TB of data (about 120 hours of videos and 40 000 pictures). The editing was done on and off with other regular jobs at the same time, it was spread over several months."
Ash Cloud This satellite image from the MODIS instrument on NASA’s Terra satellite captures an eruption of the volcano Nishinoshima, on a tiny, remote island almost 1000 kilometers away from Japan. The volcano first awakened in 2013 and eventually grew large enough to consume a nearby island from a previous volcanic event. Although it was quiet for a few years after this burst of activity, it has been active again since last December and particularly vigorous in its eruptions over the last month or so.
Nishinoshima volcano emerged out of the ocean about 1000 kilometers south of Tokyo to create an island in an eruption that started in 2013. It continued erupting after it appeared, actually consuming another nearby island formed out of a related volcano and being given the name of that island in the process. Here is continuing activity on that remote island captured by the Japanese Meteorological Agency.
