That crisp chill in the air for the northern hemisphere is coming. Here is last year's autumn in New York's Finger Lakes region, each of these is a valley that was originally formed by a river, that was then scoured more deeply by glaciers during the ice ages.
This tumblr generated collage reminds me of why I go to Colorado in late September every year. New England is nice in the fall and so is the Blue Ridge Parkway, but Colorado is just freakin’ special.

I'll confess my ignorance at not knowing what a "Naked bike" is, but the views of the Italian Alps captured in this clip are some of the best I've ever found. Original caption: "The fastest naked bike in the world in one of the most beautiful places on the Earth. Collaboration with MV Agusta."

Filmed over the course of two years, The Seasons of Central Park chronicles the incredible seasonal and atmospheric changes that take place every year throughout Central Park. Home to centuries-old bridges, 20,000 trees and 9,000 park benches, this two and half mile park is a beloved New York icon. This video was constructed by capturing time-lapses, from the same location with identical framing, throughout the year. Each single composition shows a portion of each season composited within the frame.
