For someone who hates flying I seem to find myself in tiny planes a lot! Totally worth it for this view
Texan Haboob This is a true “Haboob” viewed out the window of an aircraft at 38,000 feet or so, formed over Texas in 2014. A haboob is a “density current”. If enough dust lofts into the air, that mixture of air and dust will be denser than the atmosphere above it. The dense layer will hug close to the ground, blowing along with whatever winds are driving it and creating a wall of dust like this one. -JBB Image credit: Ryan Scott of Dallas Texas (shared with permission): https://twitter.com/RaiderTex52/status/443764260800196608/photo/1

Do you want to see a small plane doing barrel rolls and sharp turns through the moon’s shadow during a solar eclipse? Yes you do.
Awesome work!
Instagram: http://instagram.com/art_only I captured this on an overnight flight from Phoenix after a week long photography trip out west. I attached my camera to the window with a suction mount and I captured this timelapse over a period of around 2 hours. I covered my camera with a t-shirt to block lights on the plane from reflecting on the window. I used the Sony A7s2 and the Samyang 24mm F/1.4 lens. all 980 images for the timelapse were shot at 3.2s, f/1.4, 24mm, 20000iso. Music: Faux Tales - Ascent
