I've always grown up on 10 acres and I’m really grateful for that, this is my backyard at home
my home in ontario, this is longest I’ve been away from my family (I last saw them sept. 1-12 2019)
family photo <3 me on the left, my dad beside me, my mom is holding my youngest sister Amanda, then my other sister susan is beside her and my brother adam on the right. it was my dads birthday here and my mom made a homemade cake like we had for all our birthdays, and we bought him tools from the dollar store. all of us are wearing 100% thrifted clothes like we always did. my dad looks so young here and my mom is beautiful. this was probably 15 years ago or more
the only time I ever saw my grandma on my mom’s side in real life. she’s in the back left, my mom is in the back right holding my youngest sister amanda. i’m also on the right, my brother adam is in the middle then my sister susan is on the left
this photo is from forever ago but all 4 of us fit on the couch and it was so cute
potato wedges that my sister @fairhytale made!!! she’s been vegetarian for over 2 months now!!! and has lots of days where she eats fully vegan! she is trying sooo many new foods! it’s crazy because she’s the pickiest eater in the world and doesn’t even like fruits or vegetables or most plant foods. her diet before this was basically cheese and turkey sandwiches and nutella. but now she eats oatmeal almost every morning (which she used to hate before!) and lots of rice and pasta with vegan chao cheese, and she makes lots of potato wedges too! she is even starting to eat fruit almost daily like apples and bananas and she even eats brown rice which is something she never would have done before! and when she is craving cookies or something she usually goes for a vegan option like animal crackers which is amazing :)
i am just so proud of her and so happy for her!! changing her eating habits is something she has been wanting to do forever and now she is 18 and finally making it happen! and it would be awesome if you guys could go over to her blog and show her some love and support :) @fairhytale <3
my sisters vegan dinner that she sent me a photo of! a bowl of hash browns that she made and corn pasta with tomato sauce and chao cheese :) (which all of my family tried and they all loved it!)
Some homemade potato wedges that my sister Susan made and just texted me a photo of 😍 I already have a younger sister named Amanda who has been vegetarian for the past 2 years (she's 13), but recently Susan (she's 18) told me that she's officially a vegetarian too now!! She's already been meat free for almost 3 weeks and over 90% plant based! Which is AMAZINg because she's the pickiest eater and basically lived off Turkey and cheese sandwiches, eggs, and Nutella. I'm so proud of them both 💕
So proud of my sister!! I have a younger sister who is 13 years old who has been vegetarian for one year now, and Susan is my 18 year old sister who I always thought would never go vegetarian because she's just so picky with food. She is now officially a vegetarian, and for the past 2 weeks she's been eating 90-95% plant based and wants to go fully vegan eventually! YAY! And my mom is vegan 99% of the time so that's awesome :)
Yaaayy my sister is the last person I would have ever expected to even TRY out being vegan, she's sooo picky with food and doesn't like most foods. But she's still determined and trying (she's trying to eat starch based) and I'm really proud of her!
Yaaayyy for family members eating more vegan food!! My sister (she’s 18) really wants to start eating plant based so she texted me a photo of her meal of plain white rice LOL when I asked what she was eating it with I meant if she was putting a sauce or something with it. Eating vegan is really hard for her because she is the pickiest eater I’ve ever met and she hates vegetables and 80% of other plant foods but she does like rice so that’s good and I’m proud of her for trying and I hope her taste buds will adjust soon so she can enjoy other vegan foods and eat more variety!
