I'm sure they'll uphold that last promise.
I don't know when the next one will be. Hopefully it is a shorter timeframe than a full year, though. Balancing uni and life is hard.
More Philip Wittebane art. I hope he falls in.
No particular reason for drawing Philip in a moment like this, but I thought it turned out pretty well.
Wittebros comic may come back soon.
Quick sketch of the Wittebanes.

A year ago I would have never been able to do this
Last of this episode. This section had to go through 4 rewrites, but I think it came out alright in the end.
Honestly, in retrospect I probably should’ve opened this story with a bit more action. Hopefully I can remedy this somewhat.
1.5 months in and I still have yet to make a title for this! I'll probably call it "Wittebros" for now I guess.
Back in April, shortly after The Owl House ended, I randomly felt a sudden dissatisfaction (Not the crew's fault!) with how little we got about the Wittebanes' backstories. The emotional depth, the characters, the unanswered questions about the people of Gravesfield, Evelyn, Philips' journey to the Boiling Isles.
I thought "why not?", and wrote down a rough timeline, some characters, and a few short scenes, just to get it out of my system. 6 weeks in, it's still not out of my system, and I've added a visual component to boot.
I was never really a good artist in school, but last year I decided to learn the basics, and now I've started this comic as an exercise in art and storytelling. What is currently driving this forward is a desire to see this story told, and hopefully seeing myself improve.
With that, I would love to hear some feedback. I still consider myself a beginner, and while I do think that I have improved over the course of 9 pages, I can also see that I have a long way to go.
My current goal is releasing roughly 3 pages a fortnight, but that may increase whenever semester holidays come around.
I hope you all enjoy this, and hopefully I'll update this soon.
