Its dehumanizing and genocidal. Public spaces are patrolled by privately contracted guards or even security personnel that represent big business through BID (business improvement district) lobby groups. They patrol public/private space to make sure that undesirables are harassed and removed or even arrested (by working closely with police) so that property value is maintained and the marketed commodification of every day life replicates unhindered by humyn need/ the presence of the poor.

The containment policy of skid row in Los Angeles known as “the safer cities initiative” highlights the exploitative effects of policies meant to control and punish poverty instead of prevent it or mediate it with harm reduction, resources or access to space/restrooms. Loitering, lack of restrooms, public urination type punishments just enforce fines, increase the threat of incarceration, brutality or death by making the homeless targets of the criminal justice system in defense of capital and property value. I would call this fascism.

Well, I sort of think their philosophy is inherently broken and would result in such far-reaching and horrific catastrophes that any fascist system will collapse only marginally slower than it would with the intervention of active revolutionaries.  However, why wait?  I want my tomorrow today!

well idk i think this fascist system has resulted in far reaching horrific catastrophes and it isn't really collapsing slowly, but our communities are.  i guess this applies if you confine fascism to a party or centric effort, rather than a dynamic in application or mentality. neoliberalism is on the rise expanding imperialism with the solidification of intervening global policies. it'll commodify dissent (green revolution, nonprofit industrial complex) before it cedes an inch. fascism is an aggregate, resulting in total force which the US regime has practiced in multiple forms as reflected in -force projection theory- and it's continuous framing and facilitation of extra-regional privatization and conflict (or globalization). 

This shit is not gonna 'deescalate' itself in terms of total effect on communities of excluded people and the expanding monopolizing efffects of industrialization on rural and urban poor throughout the fucking globe. Especially not if they are sending in private mercenaries to fight contracted under a government [but really an authoritarian regime] trying to maintain control. This changes the dynamic, who is the regime at play here? the regional government security forces of [greece] or the private company supplying an occupying force on behalf of the forces of industry or the agencies [intelligence, governmental] facilitating the use of force in terms of trade and/or presence agreements. 

but yeah i'm sure it'll devolve in all kind of disastrous ways. infrastructure suffers, but with all this austerity talk masking shit and the dominant narrative operating like a machine imposing consumption of ideas and comfort, i don't know.. it's a learning curve.  but i don't think that fascism requires overt support perhaps just a complicit majority in silence. downtown their purging the streets of the homeless, and that's after the mass displacement from rural areas, shutting down missions (which operate like complexes anyway), criminalizing, sanitizing... the total authoritarian force required to maintain the class conditions of capitalism guarantee that by now we only have the summation of global fascism- except with a very disconnected immature undeveloped intra inter regional bureaucratic apparatus. but with the golden beasts- raytheon, boeing, northrop grumman housed in cities like Los Angeles, protected by the regime... with drones tested over the 5 freeway? i don't see their false morality collapsing in on itself anytime soon.
