ain why you just pissed off 1.5 billion Muslims by giving away all of Jerusalem to Israel as its capital. If you boast of taking out Osama Bin Laden by saying if someone kills innocent Americans we will follow them to the ends of the earth, you have to explain why it is all right to kill innocent civilians in Yemen with drone strikes when there is no legal framework for US attacks on Yemen. If you slam Mitt on Afghanistan policy, you have to explain why your Afghanistan “surge” was not a failure. If you keep invoking the ‘scripture’ and ‘God’ you have to explain why we shouldn’t just let the Republican evangelicals run things. If you say you care about global warming and the rising seas, you have to explain why you are praising more oil and gas drilling. If you praise the Arab masses’ striving for rights, you have to explain why you continued in force the unconstitutional PATRIOT Act here at home through 2014, which allows warrantless surveillance of Americans of the sort deployed by Hosni Mubarak and Muammar Qaddafi on their populations. ~ Juan Cole

BURN IT. because they use rhetoric and liberalism to sell you the lie that the government exists to protect you. that sound bites and party rhetoric some how make up for organic and legitimate grassroots efforts by the people- to reclaim our public space, to reclaim our voice, to restore OUR OWN POWER and smash the power dynamics that keep the class system effective.

'law and order' is just a phrase used to protect the privileged class- the bureaucrats and bourgeois- the political and financial elite from the power of the people. THEY want you to think it's about 'crime' but they really do nothing to prevent crime... they just create criminals. FUCK THE SYSTEM. And for all of you who think there is justice or freedom in this country, pick up a fucking sign, occupy/liberate some 'public' space, go to court for one of these protesting cases and see it for yourself- THERE IS NO JUSTICE HERE. THIS THEATRE OF JUSTICE is the 'civilized' capitalist version of the coliseum. it's a FACADE. a twisted JOKE. it only serves those with access to money/power. and people have the audacity to tell me to calm down. people of color on the benches.. privileged people manipulated legal language i can go alllll daaaaaaaaay. FUCK. and then i get home from court and my mom calls and says "hey are you going to hear obama speak?" FUCK NO I'M NOT HEARING OBAMA SPEAK. civil rights FAIL.
