yes i am also fearful of it supplementing real life interaction skillz/communication :/ and though i want to use it to cope with the alienation and stuffz it's also clearly a way for me to escape the traditional expectations/methods of coping/communicating which has to effect my participation irl. but overall i think the interactionz we have irl and on here are in some way an investment (for lack of a better term), especially in the purging of ideas/emotions, and that really makes the relationship i have with this medium and others like it interesting. also just the idea of everything you said about growth and ideasharing and learning via firsthand expression of other people's interpretation/response to reality is invaluable in some way
