but on one of those positive notes- when people march and realize they are not free and everything the media told them about protest and police and control and free assembly and ‘civil rights’ is not actually true but a well concealed facade… they pull at the fabric. they defy. they reveal the conflict under the surface between the rulers and the subordinated. they become radicalized. and then comes the repression. but the repression is no reason to keep from the practicing.

Direct action because you create spaces that undermine capital and value xistems like property and people are exposed to alt. Means of interaction and we grow to cultivate resistance

Civil disobedience expects people to behave a particular way in order for a higher or outside power to intervene often reinforcing reliance on the state

Direct action gets the goods, undermines commerce and holds our ground regardless of laws

Civil disobedience upholds a moral exception to particular laws

Hey y’all, I know that you guys don’t know me and all, but I was wondering if you guys can share this GoFundMe for my grandma eye surgery that me and my brother are launching. She has been having headaches and serious problems with her vision. She’s sooo sooo good, she has taken care of us ever since our mom left when we were little. She is so strong and kind, and loving. 

I know this might not get far, we just don't know what to do right now. We don’t have insurance or anything and I don’t want her to just suffer through it.
