I think I'm gonna start using he/him for the moon on purpose now.

Pooners are now posting screenshots of Indians saying the moon is feminine and not masculine to post about it being transphobia “specifically against trans men”

You found an untagged post where I didn't mention trans men or transphobia anyhow, congrats on obsessed behavior.

That person has fucking "aryan" in the url and is harassing a trans man about how there's no meaningful difference between him and cis lesbians

who is even saying "we need more weird queer people" like do we? do we really need more "scrunglegender fagdyke" theyfabs making up weird shit to obscure their relationship to transmisogyny

As an AMAB trans woman (with a lot of painful dysphoria, since you care) I don't want you to ever speak about transmisogyny ever again. Shut the fuck up. Be quiet. Silence yourself.

Well, yeah, op, we do. Because more of them means less of you, and that's a blessing.

God forbid I don't identify with my chronological age and want to be seen as attractive.

if you're an age regressor call it age regression and if you identify as older than your chronological age you let the people calling you "mature for your age" or an "old soul" get to your head to a dangerous extent. there's no benefit to insisting the earth went around the sun a different number of times for You Personally than it did for everyone else

Yes, I identify as older than my chrono age, and my girlfriend identifies as younger, and many other folks I hang out with identify as something else too, including ages that have nothing to do with the calendar as we know it. This is not a me vs everyone else issue. This is us, many, creating a more transformative approach to ages.

We don't owe you using your terminology.

Everyone, transgenderness is over, back to calling ourselves transvestites and tomboys and saying we are not denying what sex we are. /sarc

It does make me feel a little bitter that Tumblr has been suspending us with no note or possibility to appeal since early 2018, and everyone cheered, but once it's some vaguely normie big name trans bloggers, everyone is complaining about bigotry.

Bestie, look in the mirror.

I've been banned from Tumblr, Twitter, Instagram, Discord, Cohost, and several others for spreading educational materials about paraphilias, all while having a strong anti abuse stance. The mainstream trans community's response was to repeatedly erase my transness, presenting me as a cis male trans ally on some occasions and as a gender trending cis woman on others (which is kinda misogynistic by itself), and to claim I'm harmful for the trans community because I associate pure and innocent queerness with dirty and disordered sexual perversion.

And I'm supposed to feel sorry for you and alarmed about this situation now? I don't have the energy for caring about you. Y'all are gonna get screwed over and not even know where it came from, the fuck can I do about it? You never listen to me anyway.

hey um this is double-plus ungood

it's shit like this that makes me so fucking sad, so fucking angry, and so fucking terrified.

here's a link to her youtube channel

im in no position to help. maybe someone out there could. she's so fucking strong for this. i dont think id survive being detransitioned. i know i wouldnt be able to handle that at all. this shit is terrifying. i just. i wish the world wasn't like this. i wish people weren't so desperate to see us detransition that they'd force it on us.

here's her gofundme as well - and she wants the news to be spread, so post about this! subscribing to her channel and liking her videos 'could' help the algorithm pick up her videos but it's not dependable at all, share her videos and channel directly.

as of 5 hours ago she's gotten food & it appears she has been moved elsewhere! i don't have a facebook account so i can't see other posts for more info. please continue talking about this!

as of an hour ago she posted a video from a second institution, where she’s been given a room in the female ward, and staff have been more respectful

Imagine positioning "more cis lesbians are willing to date exclusively trans men than exclusively trans women" as "those cis lesbians are accepting of trans men" rather than "those cis lesbians are misgendering all trans people"

Tag by snakelung:

i think there are scenarios where a trans man dating a cis lesbian isnt transphobia but i think theyre exceedingly rare

_

A trans man dating a cis lesbian is not transphobia. What a trans person is doing with their own life is not transphobia.

A cis lesbian saying "I will not date trans women because they are actually men, I will date trans men because they are actually women" is.

These are two completely unrelated things.

The body of a 21-year-old transgender man, Alex Franco, has been found in a “remote desert area in Utah County,” close to the city of Lehi. It’s believed that Franco died from a single gunshot, however police say they are waiting on a coroner’s report. Taylorsville Police, who are investigating, said that two teenagers aged 15 and 17 have been arrested and charged with “multiple felony charges” in relation to what they are treating as a possible homicide.

Despite being properly gendered and named by his family, some news reports seem to be using his deadname.

His family described him as "an athletic, cheerful man with a big heart." Pgh Lesbian Correspondents has more information on his life. You can donate to the family here to help them pay for his funeral.

wait did chris chan actually get exonerated by the courts

@vakht-oyf so you're telling me...that she got baselessly accused of raping her mom by kiwifarmers who had been insinuating that she was an incestuous rapist for years, got arrested, and got incarcerated in a male jail over fabricated evidence? and legions of people simply just took the farmers' word for it?

Literally yes. Because the world hates mentally ill autistic trans women so fucking much. All because she made a cringe comic and wasn't normal about being stalked for decades.

If you have no idea who chrischan is (you're lucky), Behind the Bastards did a two-part miniseries on her, focusing on her stalkers.

Keep in mind these were recorded and originally released before her exoneration, so some of the things about the case may be outdated

Righteous Torrence "Chevy" Hill, a barber based in Atlanta, was recently killed for being trans. There aren't many people talking about this and the obvious reason is because he is a black trans man. It's a shame that this went unnoticed for so long, but I'm using this platform to remind people that black trans men are often left out of the conversation about who we need to protect and it's unfair.

I literally lived on that very street during my first year as a refugee in the US. He would have been a child in that same neighborhood.

This hits hard.

One of the reasons why I cannot transition.

According to Nex Benedict friends he was a trans boy and used he/him pronouns.

Please stop using they/them for Nex in your future posts - this is an act of degendering by Nex’s family.

A screenshot of a part of the linked article. It reads:

Robin Gray, 16, who dated Benedict on and off, began his speech by noting that Benedict was a transgender boy who used he/him pronouns, according to NBC News. Benedict's family has referred to him primarily using they/them pronouns, which other friends said he also used, but we're not what he preferred.

I’m a transman who is medically transitioning, which means I’m on hormone therapy and self-inject testosterone every week. With testosterone, I stopped menstruating. It does a lot of other things, too, but my uterus is essentially on pause. There isn’t a lot of research about the long term effects testosterone can have on my uterus because we are just starting to have enough trans people actually reaching geriatric age. So it’s recommended by my endocrinologist, who checks my hormone levels, to see the OBGYN regularly. When I called to make an appointment, they kept asking me the name of the patient because they didn’t believe it was me. My medical records list my gender as male so they didn’t believe I would need to see an OBGYN. The first person I spoke to thought I was trying to prank her, so I had to have my primary doctor set up the appointment for me. When I arrived, once again, I had to explain the appointment was for me and that I’m a transgender man. I explained that I was there for a pap smear and the nurse told me I didn’t know what a pap smear was, and they couldn’t help me. The nurse at the reception desk started loudly misgendering me (calling me “she” and using my birth name) while she called over another nurse to help. I asked her to use the correct pronoun and to call me Jaden. I went to sit and wait and the next thing I know, LAPD is coming in. The nurse had called the police because she felt like I was threatening her. So I left. I felt humiliated, and this kind of experience is so common. I run a support group for trans men and transmasculine people (people assigned female at birth and don’t identify as women and not necessarily as men) called Toolbox TransLA and this kind of experience comes up a lot. I was already concerned about having to out myself as trans by being there. I know she called the police, not even the hospital security, because I’m Black. The second time I made an appointment, I finally got to see the OBGYN. I explained that I had a history of sexual violence and would need a lot of communication during the exam. I asked her to not gender my body parts when we’re talking about them. She didn’t tell me what she was doing before she started the exam. I told her I was having some abdominal cramps and some spotting, which is cause for concern after 3 years of not menstruating. I know how common fibroids are for people of color who are assigned female at birth, at that was my concern as well. She said, “That’s common for black women to experience phantom pain.” I told her I wasn’t a woman and that I don’t think the pain Black women are saying they feel is “phantom.” She apologized and said, “Well you have woman parts. And with most of those women, it ended up being nothing.” I responded that I’m a man so my parts are “man parts.” She didn’t really answer any other questions after that. She told me everything was fine and that I needed to lose weight.

I did say "they" and "the account" in an attempt to be neutral in the original post a few hours ago, because I genuinely have never come across pergstrogen before and was totally unfamiliar with her (see! I got it right now) pronoun preferences. I am really sorry!

As it was pointed out in the comments I immediately updated the post, apologized, and have not made the mistake again. And I would do that for anybody! I only want to refer to people as they want to be referred to.

Some are saying I called her "it" which is completely untrue, my use of the word "it" was referring to a post, which is an it, not a person.

Pergstrogen.

Man's old enough and online enough to know what "pergs" means. For those who don't:

So we have two options. Was this an intentional dogwhistle to the kiwifarms crowd, or is he just so used to being ableist that he said it by accident? Judging by his refusal to use the she/her pronouns listed in the comments until he ran out of plausible deniability—and his victim-blaming stance of "she said in a moment of anger that she wanted us to ban her so obviously she's just trying to make me personally look bad :((((("—I think it's obvious which is the case, but none of them points toward a good life to lead.

[Image description:

A screenshot from the urbandictionary on the word Pergs. It reads:

Pergs

Shortened slang term for Asperger’s Syndrome. Implies that someone is severely socially awkward. A person with this condition might also be called a "Pergburger."

I haven't seen a lot of coverage in the news about this, but my state has just advanced legislation on a bill that would criminalize trans bathroom use in publicly owned buildings. this could mean up to 6 months in jail and up to $1000 in fees for those convicted.

most alarming aspects of this bill:

-"publicly owned buildings" include airports, schools, libraries, government offices, some hospitals, and most terrifyingly AND explicitly within the bill, domestic violence shelters and rape crisis facilities. transgender people, who are estimated to be almost 4 times more likely to be victims of violent crimes than cisgender people, could become criminalized in the very spaces they seek out to shelter from abuse.

-on that note, the bill potentially threatens federal funding of already-underfunded domestic violence and sexual assault facilities. to recieve federal grants, facilities are required to follow nondiscrimination laws. this law could place the facilities in danger of losing the grants they rely on. this is severely going to impact victims' abilities to access critically needed services.

-the bill legally defines "sex" in a way that has a lot of potential impact across state legislature. according to the bill’s text, HB 257 would legally define a female as “an individual whose biological reproductive system is of the general type that functions in a way that could produce ova,” and a male as “an individual whose biological reproductive system is of the general type that functions to fertilize the ova of a female.” this could effectively end the state's legal recognition of trans people.

-the bill demands that trans people who DO use bathrooms in publicly owned buildings must have undergone both gender reassignment surgery and have had their birth certificate changed. this has several issues, obviously, but the biggest one I want to highlight is that this opens the door to potential genital inspection by law enforcement if someone is accused of being transgender in a bathroom. in addition to any other indignities suffered by being harassed by cops when trying to use the restroom, it is completely possible for law enforcement to now demand to see whether someone's genitals are in compliance with these laws. it's an unconscionable and humiliating invasion of privacy.

-the bill requires trans students to develop a "privacy plan" with their school in order to arrange access to unisex spaces. if unisex bathrooms are unavailable, the student can be granted access to a sex-designated space “through staggered scheduling or another policy provision that provides for temporary private access.”

-the bill allows the state’s attorney general to impose a fine of up to $10,000 per day on local governments that don’t enforce the bill. in essence, any government that isn't sufficiently committed to enforcing these draconian laws may face massive fines until they have reached the attorney general's standard of enforcement.

this is one of the most unbelievably severe anti-trans laws that have ever been proposed in the united states. it would effectively ban trans people from participating in public life, harm nearly every single victim of domestic violence and sexual assault who seeks services in the state, enforce criminality on random trans people in bathrooms, and open every single person who could be potentially accused of being trans up to a wave of harassment and discrimination from both private citizens and law enforcement. I'm not being hyperbolic when I say that this law would literally force me and my transfemme fiancee to flee this state.

the law's been fast tracked to an insane degree through the legislature. similarly to the anti-dei bill currently making its way through, it's only been a week since it was introduced, and it's already passed the house, and is now up for vote in the senate. if it passes both sets of votes, the only thing left in its way is the governor's decision to veto.

please share this post. make as much noise as you can. if you live in utah, please call and email your district senator as soon as possible. it doesn't matter how late you see this. the bill is up for vote this week (1/23/24 at the time of writing) and we need to do whatever we physically can to protest its passing. we've already moved past the opportunity for public comment on the bill, but a few organizations have called for a rally at the capitol steps on thursday (1/25/24) at noon. if you are in the salt lake area or are able to make it there, please consider attending. wear a mask and bring a sign. we are stronger together.

the rally is tomorrow! once again, please call state senators and attend the rally if you live in state, and continue to discuss this issue if you live out of state. in addition, please keep talking about the diversity equity & inclusion bill in danger of passing! we need to keep as much public pressure on as we can here!
