I don’t understand how Hürrem saving Hatice’s and Ibrahim’s child didn’t automatically end any feuds and put them permanently in her debt
What’s your favourite Hürrem friendship??
Hürrem is in a very dangerous place in which she has to fight to survive. So that means she will use her friends if it is to her and her children's advantage. That said I liked her friendship with Hatice and Nigar Kalfa. But both of those fell apart. I also kinda hate Hatice and thinks she's very spoiled and selfish but I liked it when she and Hürrem were nice to each other. I think she has a good relationship with her servants Nazli, Nilüfer, and Esma. I didn't see much of season 3 or 4 but I also like her relationships with Afife Hatun and Sumbul.

I wish there was an episode where Hürrem was like “listen up, bitches! We need to put our squabbling aside for some [charity/humanitarian work]” or something. And they were like *something mean about never working with an insolent slave and bad person, bla bla bla* and Hürrem was like “listen, we have great lives. Do you know what life is like for most of our citizens?! Their short lives are full of hardship.” We can’t just sit here squabbling in our tiaras while our people toil and starve. And maybe Mahidevran who maybe also came from peasantry joins her after Hatice and Valide Hafsa reject her, and so does Gülfem.
And maybe they get to know each other more by working together and talk about the stress and trauma of losing their family and entering the harem’s game of thrones.
For the last time, MC! I am here for Hürrem and my inkling of hope that some of these female characters will finally get some good development! I don’t care about Ibrahim and the other abusive one um *squints at smudged writing on hand* salesman?

Hürrem took a deep breath then looked Hatice in the eyes, “Hatice, why are we fighting? We were friends once, I haven’t forgotten that. I miss that, I miss you. Why are we enemies? I am the your brother’s beloved wife who gives him the comfort and strength he needs to rule. I am the mother of your niece and nephews who love you very much and I know you love very much. There doesn’t need to be war between us.”
