This is a very inaccurate and biasedly handpicked, and lowkey misogynist, photoset and it bothers me!
Alicent looking tired while holding her screaming baby implies she’s a bad mother. Babies teeth and she’s probably exhausted after holding the screaming baby for hours. I think it actually is a testament to Alicent being a good mother that she is continuing to try and comfort her baby instead of just giving her to a servant.
Yes, Alicent is hard on Aegon when he’s older and it’s messed up. But she’s legit terrified having very much witnessed the recklessnes, entitlement, and cruelty of the royal family. Also she’s frustrated that Aegon is bullying his younger brother, and probably feels alone in the issue because Rhaenyra has never done anything to stop her kids from bullying Aemond.
Also this photoset fails to include Alicent comforting Aemond or talking with Helaena about the bugs she’s interested in.
Like the bitch who made that photoset has obviously never worked with children.
