I imagine two timelines for this quangled Theo; either he's a Jawbreaker from the get-go (a Lost Knight of Gumbia) , or he transplanted after the successful assassination of House Rocks. I am a big sap and like everyone being alive for maximum drama and smooching possibilities vs maximum angst but I keep bouncing back and forth between them haha.
He fills the same role as his knightly counterpart, though his responsibilities lean more towards that of an enforcer than a protector. Given that the mountains and Manylicks have a more violent and active military presence, he's more often an active participant than a tactician. He has a harder exterior but is still just as doggedly loyal and subservient as his House Rocks counterpart with just as much butting heads and bending the knee. I imagine he'll take on any challenge in the name of House Jawbreaker and gets frequently slammed down big style in every sense of the phrase.
In the Lost Knight scenario I'm imagining he may be Liam's guardian prior to his being a ward, and might try to sneak into House Rocks since he's so incredibly protective.
(also since i leather-daddy'd him up he's probably an aspect of the bear or ancestral guardian barb now instead of a heavy armor eldritch knight)

well, time to catch up with critical role from episode 22
last d20 thought of the night (i am bouncing rapidly between thoughtful m&m feelings and absolutely wild aso zealotry)
I really love how this last episode felt very much like a home game episode. In that, the players did something, the dice told a story moment, and there was a major consequence to it that really threatened to derail the story that was being told. But, bc the GM and players are amazing, even a "sidequest" to get things back to normalcy and continue the plot were able to push forward the themes of the story being told as well as lay groundwork for the plot ahead. It made the ordeal seem like a real intentional symbol of the stakes at hand and reality check versus a fluke or a miscalculation and I love that. I strive to do that in my own games and it's such a good representation of how good Aabria and the crew are at roleplaying that it was shocking but seamless long-form improv. A++++++++
