EVERYONE DONT MOVE I JUST THOUGHT OF A SCENE I NEED IN SEASON TWO!
Charles was off, he wasn’t focusing or losing focus like he normally did, he just sat on the corner of his desk that he normally sat on and was quiet.
Edwin had seen it too, he tried to make comments to get Charles to speak but he never did.
His partner of course believed that something was wrong with his partner, that he was developing a ghost sickness.
But Crystal knew it had to be something a lot more simple.
She didn’t exactly know how to bring it up to him. Since Charles is already very non talkative about emotions it was difficult.
But when they got locked into a room together with Edwin on the other side, they had to wait for Edwin to open the door. Crystal suggested. Charles just to faze through to help Edwin but he said he wanted to keep Crystal company.
Crystal took this as her chance to speak to Charles.
“Charles how…how have you been lately?” Crystal asked who was sitting in a chair, where Charles was standing by the door.
“Why do you ask?” Charles asked without turning to look at Crystal.
She stood from her chair and walked over to where Charles stood.
“i’m worried, you’ve been off lately,” Crystal said crossing her arms and gave Charles an prevailing look.
He looked away from Crystal down at his shoes, he seemed to be thinking.
Crystal waited understanding the need to understand your own thoughts.
But when Charles looked back up, he just turned around and started to pace.
“Charles?” Crystal said, her anxiety screaming at her.
He didn’t turn to her, just continued to pace.
And well Crystal could barely prevent herself.
She walked over to the taller boy and grabbed his arm. Her fingers squeezed around his pale skin, as she began to read him.
Her breath hitched, her breathing shuttering.
Flashes of bright lights filled her vision, blinding unable to block in from her eyes. It flashed to a blurry outline of someone who was smiling, Crystal tried to focus her vision.
The person in question was Edwin, he was in his white button up, sleeves rolled up. He laid on his side his hand propping up his head.
Crystal wasn’t surprised to find Edwin in Charles thoughts, they loved each other it was explainable.
The vision started to flicker, almost changing perspectives.
Charles was next to the bed that Edwin was laying on. He stood there staring down at his partner.
Crystal felt like she was a watcher.
Edwin laughed and reached out and grabbed Charles hand pulling him down on the bed.
The two of them were engulfed in laughter, Charles laying next to Edwin, their hands holding each other tightly. Edwin’s smile settled to something simpler, as he studied Charles face.
Charles leaned closer his nose bumping Edwin’s. Their lips inches away from the others and before they met the vision cut off.
Crystal, pulled her hand from Charles stepping back. Her hand on her chest as she tried to focus on her breathing.
She looked up and met Charles look who looked scared. Crystal saw the pure want in Charles eyes, the need for it to be real, but the terror from his own thoughts.
“Charles-,” Crystal started her breathing hitching, tears forming in her eyes.
The door swung so fast open smacking against the wall. The other two jumped and looked to the open door.
Edwin was sitting on one of his legs, his book in one hand, his other outstretched.
Edwin huffed and stood up.
“Well that was…brills,” Charles said, a smile on his face, as he stared at his partner.
Crystal looked at Charles then at Edwin.
How did she not see it before?
