whether its astrology, racial-character theories, alpha male ontology, or attachment-style shit, people want ONE thing: systems. they want to build and apply systems. they want to construct mental contraptions filled with categories, relations, rules, and consistency. the people want math; the people want algebras.

Look, actual mimes are the fucking coolest.
Not only the skill at motion, but the comedy sensibility-when the suitcase starts *floating* uncontrollably instead of just being stuck-is fuckin’ great:)
plenty of people have talked about how people in the iwtv universe are probably losing their shit over two-time pulitzer prize winning author and renowned journalist daniel molloy becoming a nocturnal weirdo who wears sunglasses at night, whose parkinson's disease was miraculously healed, and who now believes in vampires, and i love that whole concept and i think it's hilarious, but i feel like the real-world equivalent of that has to be like... okay so i'm imagining a scenario in which a young history major is writing their thesis on armenia in the years following the armenian genocide and they've read what is the only historical monograph about (and has been praised by numerous sources as the most detailed and well researched account of) the assassination plot against talat pasha, the "architect of the armenian genocide" and been told by someone who saw them reading the book that the author, eric bogosian, is also an actor, and so they decide to check him out and the first thing they find is the interview where he says that he's always wanted to be a vampire and that neck biting is one of his kinks and also, just so everyone knows, he can in fact still get hard at 71 years old.
my parents have no issue with my art being explicit or sexual and are very supportive and this is great. the issue is they’re too supportive. my dad will whip out his phone and show neighbors we barely know paintings of naked trans men on their knees and be like ^_^ im so proud of my son!!!
once i told my mom that if she invited my 90 year old grandmother to my art show that she should warn her that theres sex in it. and she was like ‘your grandmother knows what sex is. she’ll be fine’
