Keira Knightley Makes Statement With Topless Photoshoot
The exquisite Keira Knightley has been referenced in years past regarding photoshop techniques used on women in media. One of the more blatant instances involved breast enlargement for a movie poster.
Recently, Knightley did a shoot with Interview Magazine, shot by Patrick Demarchelier, and expressly stated that her photos not be digitally enhanced in any way. This includes a topless photo of Knightley.
“I’ve had my body manipulated so many different times for so many different reasons, whether it’s paparazzi photographers or for film posters... That [shoot] was one of the ones where I said: ‘OK, I’m fine doing the topless shot so long as you don’t make them any bigger or retouch.’ Because it does feel important to say it really doesn’t matter what shape you are.” - Keira Knightley

3 Things We Learned Watching the Oscars
Aside from being reminded of how many movies we still need to go see, and how many movies we've never heard of that we definitely need to check out, here's 3 things we learned watching the 2013 Oscars.
1. We're in love with Jennifer Lawrence
She's obviously beautiful, but what really made us fall for her is her refusal to drop weight while filming The Hunger Games to show women, of all ages, that there is more than one version of beautiful in this world. 2. We can only hope to be as dapper, at an advanced age, as George Clooney.
The studies are there. Men spend less on their attire as they slip further into AARP territory (George is an obvious exception). Take a look around you, the next old guy you run into is probably overweight and has all but given up on maintaining more acceptable degrees of personal hygiene. Let's all look to Clooney for what it means to age like a fucking boss.
