Brothers for life. They share a father.

Look I got my comics today!! Also some pop figures. AND sex criminals!! So damn excited. You guys have no idea.

My manager at work sent this to me. Jesus do they all know me or what?

Dick you are in a life and death battle. Not a photo shoot. Who's attention is so important that you'd contort your body and stick out your ass that much?

My heart cannot handle all of this. Damian is jealous of the potential new baby. Afraid that if he's not the baby that Dick won't have time for him. Won't love him enough or be there for him. Besides Alfred, Dick is the most important person in his life. Yea he's always talking big about his dad but in the end that really is just talk. What he feels? Damian loves Dick the most. Looks up to Dick the most. And probably respects him the most too. Dick is the one who gave him a chance to be a robin at his side. Who guided him and helped him grow. He listens to Damian. He loves him. Whenever it's been a long time between visits Damian will jump right into Dick's arms. Because he knows he can. Dick will catch him. Will love him constantly and not be a disappointment. If Dick moves away to Bludhaven and starts a new family with shawn and they have a baby, where would that leave Damian? Dick wouldn't be able to run back for him. He wouldn't be the most important person in his family anymore. And Damian needs to feel like he's someone's number one. Damian is pleading for Dick's life. For him to come back. Not only to the present to get him out of whatever trance he's in. But also to come back to HIM. He was Damian's partner and brother first. And he still needs him. Break my heart already that would be damn kinder.

Random Head Canon

Dick takes pictures of Damian ALL THE TIME. When he’s eating, sleeping, playing with Titus, reading, painting, training, napping with Cass or even just sitting around. He’ll grab Damian and force him into selfies. He’ll shove Damian at Jason and Tim for “family photos”. He basically always has his phone at the ready to take a picture of his baby brother. 

The reason? 

Damian only has a handful of pictures of himself. And they’re all to commemorate some gruesome thing that happened. His first victory in battle, him surrounded by corpses and covered in blood. His birthday where he finally defeated his mother, he’s also covered in blood. His return of the year of blood, enough said. His victory over his cousin, she is on the ground and Damian is standing over her, beaten but victorious. A family photo with them all holding various weapons that were, you guessed it, covered in blood. 

So Dick decides this is unacceptable. When he finds out Damian doesn’t have baby pictures he says right there and then that Damian would have kid, pre-teen, teen, young adult, adult and adulter adult pictures. He’d have more pictures then he knew what to do with. Albums and Albums full of them. Because he loves him and everyone deserves to have embarrassing pictures they can show to future spouses. 

Alfred is in on it and prints the pictures off Dick’s phone and fills the albums himself. He organizes them meticulously and keeps them on their own shelf to keep them safe for the future. They’re kept on the shelf next to Dick, Jason and Tim’s albums that Alfred also made, 

Damian knows about this and pretends it annoys him, but is secretly pleased and changes his phone background to a different family photo every time he’s “forced” to take one. He even graciously doesn’t crop Tim out.

Omg. Everyone is all about that ass!

So. Bane is trying to hurt Batman so he's targeting people important to him. Do we see who he's targeting? Dick, Damian and JASON. Jason is in the line of fire just like Batman's other two kids. Jason, for all the troubles he's had with his father is still his SON. Batman still loves him. Jason still loves him. People who say that Batman doesn't love Jason as much as his other kids, or that he hates him since he became Red Hood clearly don't actually know Batman at all. The relationship is complicated, but they are father and son and nothing can change that. And Bane is right to target Batman's kids. The easiest way to draw out Batman is to endanger any of the like 10 kids that he loves. Mr. "I am the night and I work alone" probably has the most easilly discernable weakness in the world. His family. And having a secret identity doesn't help you when "Batman" has Robin, Nightwing and Red Hood that he clearly loves.

There are layers to my bed. And two of them are Princess related. The other two are dinosaurs and Dick. I love being me.
